RCCG cancels Pastor Adeboye’s visit to Plateau
The Region 8 headquarters of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, Jos has announced the postponement of the coming of the General Overseer of the Church for an interdenominational service in Plateau State. It would be recalled that the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye was billed to be in Camp ground of the Church, located at Kassa, Barkin Ladi local government area of the State on the 30th of the month. But the Regional Pastor, Christopher Oni and the Head, Media/Publicity, Yemi Matthew in a statement issued in Jos said the postponement which is regretted was due to unforeseen circumstances. NSF: Edo government pledges better welfare to volunteers
The Edo Government has pledged to do its best to take care of the volunteers who will help in the hosting of the 20th National Sports Festival (NSF) in Benin. The State Deputy Governor, Mr Philips Shaibu, made the pledge on Friday while addressing the volunteers at the Games village, located in the University of Benin. The Court of Appeal President, Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem, on Tuesday, harped on the need for female judges in the country to be united. She stressed that unity amongst female judges is crucial if they must succeed and excel in their career, adding that they are “despised specie”. She gave the charge when a delegate of the National Association of Women Judges in Nigeria (NAWJN) paid her a courtesy visit in Abuja. Dana Air offers free tickets to passengers after flight cancellation
Dana Air Sunday said it will offer passengers who were to board two of their aircraft that had snags weekend in Lagos and Abuja free tickets after rescheduling their flights. The University of Abuja Teaching Hospital (UATH), Gwagwalada, FCT, on Wednesday honoured 80 COVID-19 frontline healthcare workers for their dedication and selfless service in the hospital.
