Look Inside Portola, San Francisco’s Newest Electronic Music Festival

San Francisco’s newest music festival, Portola, went down over the weekend, walloping the Bay Area with the sounds of electronic music greats. The fest, which is produced by Goldenvoice and took place on September 24th and 25th, attracted roughly 30,000 fans and featured an epic lineup. Flume, Fatboy Slim, Four Tet, Jamie xx, Kaytranada, Peggy Gou, Fred again.. and The Chemical Brothers threw down at the sun-kissed grounds of Pier 80, among others. EDM.com was on the ground to capture the unique sights and intoxicating sounds of Portola’s inaugural festival. And if these photos are any indication, it’s the first of many. Following their wildly successful REALM Brooklyn Mirage show in New York this May, Gorgon City took over the Shrine in L.A. and put on another spectacular performance July 8th. Just like the Brooklyn Mirage show, this one traded the dark club interior for an open air experience outside of the Shrine Expo Hall. Combined with a stellar lineup of opening acts, this made “REALM” feel more like a small festival than a standard weekend concert. ARC Festival is returning to the birthplace of house music in 2022 with a staggering lineup. The organizers of the Chicago electronic music festival have announced the artists for for its 2022 edition, scheduled for Labor Day Weekend at Union Park. Set to perform are Carl Cox, Adam Beyer □ Cirez D, Charlotte de Witte, Chris Lake, Gorgon City, Nora En Pure, Lane 8, Claptone and many more. Here Are the Set Times and Schedule for CRSSD Festival 2022

The area around Downtown San Diego will once again welcome thousands of techno and house music fans as the city prepares to host the spring edition of CRSSD Festival. The genres’ top acts will perform across three stages this weekend, March 5-6, inside the city’s scenic Waterfront Park. In preparation for the two-day fest, organizers FNGRS CRSSD have revealed the set times so attendees can start planning out their weekend. Both days will see gates opening at 12PM, with Saturday’s festivities ending at 11PM and Sunday’s at 10PM. Notable highlights on the schedule include a jam-packed Saturday on the Palms stage, which will host big names in house music all day long. CRSSD Festival 2022 to Feature Gorgon City, Adam Beyer, SOFI TUKKER, More

San Diego’s biannual CRSSD music festival has revealed the first phase of its lineup for its upcoming spring 2022 event. Once more, the house and techno affair will take over the city’s picturesque downtown Waterfront Park on March 5th and 6th. Administered by FNGRS CRSSD, the two-day fest will be home to a bevy of big names in the genres spread across three distinct stages. Somebody Built an Elaborate LEGO Rave With Strobe Lights, Turntables and Totems

After over a year devoid live shows, people have become quite creative when it comes to experiencing their favorite artists’ music. One fan went so far as to construct an entire rave out of LEGOs—headlined by Gorgon City.   The duo gave a shoutout to the rave’s designer, Tyler Laabs, on their socials yesterday. The art piece features everything from strobe lights, costumed ravers, totems, and even vendors. He even included a guy on the verge of vomiting in a trashcan.
