GOP Grifter George Santos Declares “I Will Not Resign”

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Win McNamee / Getty Embattled congressman George Santos has broken his silence to insist he will not resign over growing calls to step down over his growing history of lying about his past. On Wednesday afternoon (Jan. 11), as the freshman Republican congressman was leaving his office, he was asked about the calls to resign from local officials of his party by ABC reporter Rachel Scott. “Will you step down?”, she asked. Santos swiftly answered, “I will not.” As he stepped onto the elevator, he refused to answer further questions from other reporters. Related Stories Santos would later take a more defiant tone on social media. “I was elected to serve the people of #NY03, not the party & politicians, I remain committed to doing that and regret to hear t...

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Anadolu Agency / Getty The Sgt. 1st Class Heath Robinson Honoring Our PACT Act passed swimmingly through the House and Senate earlier this summer but now, 25 GOP senators voted against a House-modified version of the PACT Act. In response, military veterans say they will be staging a sit-in protest. To illustrate the political divisiveness at the congressional level, the PACT Act passed at a clip of 342-88 in the House and 84-14 in the Senate. When the House returned and passed a version of the PACT Act that added 23 toxic and burn pit exposure conditions to the Veteran Affairs database, GOP senators are apparently uncomfortable with the changes. In addition, protections were extended to first responders who suffered from exposure during the 9/11 attacks....

Twitter Clowns Republican Party’s Tweet Highlighting Vice President Kamala Harris’ Cookware Purchase

HipHopWired Featured Video CLOSE Source: OLIVIER DOULIERY / Getty The divisionary tactics used in politics work as they’re intended because how else does one explain former Buffoon-In-Chief Donald Trump? The Republican Party once again is sowing seeds of dissent after fighting an article that mentioned a cookware purchase made by Vice President Kamala Harris, and Twitter is getting the weak attempt at a dig out of here. On Friday (Nov. 26), the GOP’s Twitter account linked a story from The Washington Free Beacon titled “Kamala Harris Bought $375 Pot on Paris Trip” with the sub-HED reading, “Spending spree at French boutique comes as US families fret over [the] cost of Thanksgiving dinner.” It is exactly the type of headline meant to inspire outrage from Republican and conservative voters w...

GOP Congressman Matt Gaetz Paid Prostitutes Via Cash App: Report

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Joe Raedle / Getty Rep. Matt Gaetz is under heavy scrutiny as a Justice Department investigation has uncovered a link between a disgraced politician and the Florida congressman. A new report revealed that former Seminole County tax collector Joel Greenberg paid women for sexual favors and introduced them to Gaetz, who paid them using Cash App and other forms of electronic payments. The New York Times published an early morning report on Friday (April 2) that Greenberg and Gaetz both sought out women online for sex and paid them in various ways and the publication saw some of the text messages and recipients of the money exchanges. Justice Department officials have reason to believe that Greenberg met the women on sites where sex is exchanged for gifts, mo...

Struggle Perm Wearing Right-Wing Activist Ali Alexander Names 3 GOP Congress Members In Stop The Steal Plot

Source: NurPhoto / Getty The terroristic acts performed by a gathering of Donald Trump supporters for the “Stop The Steal” rally last week has dominated the news cycle. Ali Alexander, a conservative activist, claims that he planned the so-called insurrection with three sitting GOP members of Congress. In a now-deleted video that was tweeted out and captured by Project on Government Oversight journalist Jason Paladino, Alexander firmly states that Reps. Andy Biggs, Mo Brooks, and Paul A. Gosar, all supporters of Trump’s failed attempt to overturn the Election Day results and stand behind the nation’s will that President-elect Joe Biden rightfully won. “We four schemed up of putting maximum pressure on Congress while they were voting,” Alexander said in the now-deleted video that first aired...

Carl Bernstein Says 21 GOP Senators Believe Trump Unfit To Lead

Source: Oscar Gonzalez/WENN.com / WENN As President Donald Trump continues his longshot hopes at retaining his seat in the White House, there have been rumblings of Washington regarding his behavior. Veteran journalist Carl Bernstein shared in a series of tweets that nearly two dozen GOP senators have had their fill of Trump and essentially declared him unfit to lead. Bernstein, who gained fame alongside Bob Woodward due to their reporting on the Watergate scandal, shared his recent appearance on CNN in a Twitter thread and explicitly named the senators who blasted Trump in private. I’m not violating any pledge of journalistic confidentially in reporting this: 21 Republican Sens–in convos w/ colleagues, staff members, lobbyists, W. House aides–have repeatedly expressed extreme contem...

US election: Republicans hold back Democrats, narrowing path to Senate control

The battle for power in the Senate tightened into Wednesday as Democrats picked up a seat in Colorado, but suffered a setback in Alabama, and Republicans held their own in high-profile races in South Carolina, Iowa, Texas and Kansas, dramatically narrowing the political map. Republicans fought to retain their Senate majority by turning back a surge of Democrats challenging allies of President Donald Trump, and the Democrats’ various paths to seizing control were growing more limited. With several contests still too early to call, and one Georgia race heading to a January runoff, the final verdict is expected to drag on. Democrats gained a seat when ex-Gov. John Hickenlooper ousted GOP Sen. Cory Gardner in Colorado, a must-win to flip the Senate, but couldn’t hold on in Alabama, where forme...

Op Alert: Kanye West Could Face Election Fraud Investigation Over Bandooloo Signatures

Source: SEBASTIAN SMITH / Getty Who had Kanye West could face election fraud on their 2020 bingo card? Yeezy has confirmed he is the Ops, but his alleged use of suspect signatures in order to get on ballots across the nation has exposed him to potential prosecution. As TMZ first reported, Yeezy’s name got booted off ballots after submitting petitions that allegedly contained invalid signatures. After receiving objections, Illinois’ State Board of Elections reviewed all 3,128 signatures he submitted, and found that close to 2,000 of them were suspect and ruled invalid. You need 2,500 signatures to get on the ballot, thus Yeezy came up short in Illinois. Even before this latest struggle, there is no way Kanye West would become President even if his goal is to win, as he tweeted. ...
