The emPawa Africa music star Joeboy just bagged one of the biggest ambassadorial deals in his career so far with Samsung Mobile. The new mouth-watering deal comes just a little over a week into the new year. Samsung Mobile Nigeria via its official twitter handle unveiled Joeboy as the face of its Samsung Galaxy A-series. Joeboy who was also excited took to his social media account to announce the good news to fans. The new deal between Samsung Mobile and Joeboy is said to be worth millions of Naira. Over the weekend, the music stars were arrested by the police after the performed at a show they were billed for. Nigerian singer Omah Lay speaks up from police custody in Uganda. Earlier we brought you a report that ‘Bad Influence’ crooner Omah Lay was arrested by Katwe Police in Uganda. It was gathered that the concert he performed at was not authorised by the government. He was arrested alongside the venue manager and events manager. Also Nigerian songstress Tems was also picked up by the police. While Nigerians continue to call for his release Omah Lay has spoken up from police custody. Raving Nigerian music star Omah Lay has been arrested for performing in Uganda. News making the rounds is that the Ugandan Police have arrested Omah Lay for breaching rules against performing at social gatherings in Uganda. The arrest was effected by the Katwe Police as reported. The Venue manager, Events Manager were also taken into custody by the police. Omah Lay’s arrest came shortly after Ugandan artistes protested that they could not hold events and perform in their country while Nigerian artistes flew in and performed.
