Operatives of the Kaduna Police Command have arrested a suspected bandit around Kudaru forest in Saminaka, Lere Local Government Area of Kaduna State and intercepted a Volkswagen vehicle and AK47 rifle. Gunmen suspected to be armed robbers in the early hours of Monday invaded Mbiabong Itam community in Itu Local government Area, Akwa Ibom State, and killed a young shop owner identified as Ecole. The Anti Crime Patrol team attached to Ilasan Division of the Lagos State Police Command, Saturday, arrested two suspected armed robbers on Lekki-Epe Expressway by Jakande area of Lagos State. An arm-bearing young man suspected to be an armed bandit was on Wednesday caught at Patigi Ferry Port in Niger State based on suspicious behaviour. Luck was said to have run against him when he refused to hand over his baggage to the motorcycle rider from Bida Garage to place in front of the rider on top of the motorcycle fuel tank as is the practice. The Enugu State Commissioner of Police, Ahmad Abdulrahman, has, for the third time, declared wanted a suspected notorious armed robber, Valentine. Abdulrahman also ordered the traditional ruler of Akwuke community in Enugu South Local Government Area of the state, lgwe Benard Nwonye, to produce the fleeing suspect, who is an indigene of the community.
