Coming into the night, God of War: Ragnarök led all games with ten nominations and with Elden Ring and Horzion Forbidden West close behind with seven. It looked like God of War: Ragnarök was heading towards a big night, winning six Game Awards, but Elden Ring took home the night’s most significant award, Game of The Year.
