Of Course Snoop Dogg Smoked Weed Right Before the Super Bowl Halftime Show

Did anyone really think Snoop Dogg wouldn’t find a way to smoke weed during his appearance at the Super Bowl for the halftime show? While one of America’s most famous stoners didn’t light up during the actual performance itself, production cameras caught him taking a puff from a joint right before going on stage. It’s probably not a coincidence that Snoop helped Dr. Dre kick off the show by performing their collaboration “The Next Episode,” which closes with the line “Smoke weed every day.” Footage of Snoop’s warm-up was posted to Twitter by Rafa El Alcalde, a play-by-play announcer for the Cleveland Cavaliers. Watch the clip below. Snoop was a heavy contributor to easily one of the best halftime shows in Super Bowl history, performing with his mentor Dr. Dre alongside Mary J. Blige, ...

Fret Not, Pete Davidson: Kanye West Just Sold His Tank

Good news for Pete Davidson: Kanye West is no longer in possession of his tank. Yes, at some point in the last few years, the rapper had purchased a Ripsaw EV2, a self-described “luxury, high-performance, go-fast super tank” that retails for over half a million dollars. West posed with the tank in a 2020 photoshoot for GQ. It was also featured in his music video for “Closed on Sunday,” where he was seen driving in it with his former mother-in-law, Kris Jenner. TMZ reports that West recently sold the EV2 to David “Heavy D” Sparks and David “Diesel Dave” Kiley of the Discovery reality TV show Diesel Brothers. In an interview with TMZ, Heavy D revealed that after picking up the tank, they discovered that it contains a built-in DVD player that plays a K-pop video on a loop, and they have no id...

Ted Nugent Is Pissed Off About a 12-Year-Old List of the 100 Greatest Guitarists

A decade old list ranking the 100 greatest guitarists left Ted Nugent in a foul mood over the holidays. As Blabbermouth points out, Nugent went live on YouTube on December 30th to rant and rave about a list originally published by Rolling Stone’s David Fricke in… December 2010. “When you see the Rolling Stone magazine list of greatest guitar players, they list Joan Jett but not Tommy Shaw [of Styx],” griped Nugent. “How do you list the top 100 guitar players and not list Derek St. Holmes?” he continued. “How do you do that? You do that by lying. The same way you get Grandmaster Flash in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. You do that by lying. You have to be a liar.” Nugent took particular umbrage with Joan Jett’s inclusion on the list. “You have to have shit for brains,” he continued, “and yo...

Liam Gallagher Reviews Noel’s New Song: “Miserable Arse Cheer Up You Billionaire”

Even in this turbulent world, where seemingly every month brings a new crisis, at least one thing remains consistent: the Gallagher brothers’ sheer contempt for each other. On New Year’s Day, Noel Gallagher released a demo for a new song called “Trying to Find a World That’s Been and Gone: Part 1,” in which he sings longingly, “You give me the will to carry on/ In a place where I belong/ As we try to find a world that’s been and gone.” In response, Liam tweeted directly to his brother by writing, “Miserable arse cheer up you billionaire.” According to Noel, “Trying to Find a Word…” comes from his next album as Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, which “I finished writing/demoing… about 10 days ago.” It will mark the band’s fourth solo album to date and the follow-up to Who Built the Moon? ...

Rick Ross Takes Bathroom Break Mid-Interview, Never Returns

It’s nothing too out of the ordinary for artists to make a getaway mid-interview, but Rick Ross pulled off possibly the best Irish Goodbye in recent memory. During an appearance on The 85 South Comedy Show last week, the rapper told hosts DC Young Fly, Karlous Miller, and Chico Bean that he needed to use the bathroom, only to never return. All seemed to be going well in the interview, with Ross happily engaging in conversation as weed and snacks made the rounds among the group. After gladly discussing his early singles “Hustlin’” and “Push It,” Ross asked to be excused: “Let me use the bathroom one time,” he said, taking a swig of his drink before walking off the set. After a few minutes of the hosts passing the time on their own, a crew member emerged to inform them that Ross has ex...

Meryl Streep Thought Her Don’t Look Up Co-Stars Were Literally Calling Her a Goat

Everyone seems to know Meryl Streep is the GOAT — except for the three-time Oscar winner herself. The actor’s Don’t Look Up co-stars Jennifer Lawrence and Jonah Hill spent much of the movie’s press cycle referring to her lovingly as the Greatest of All Time, but Streep wasn’t aware of the acronym. As a result, she thought they were literally calling her a goat. “The whole week I’m saying, ‘You know, working with Meryl’s the best, she’s the GOAT, she’s the GOAT,’” Hill told Jimmy Fallon in a recent appearance on The Tonight Show. “And then today, we’re doing a press conference, and she’s like, ‘You know, Jonah is so comfortable with me, he’s been calling me a goat all week!’” Lawrence also discussed the mix-up in a talk show appearance of her own. While guesting on The Late...

Seth Rogen Got Super High Before Going to Adele’s CBS Special

Here at Consequence, we’re not typically ones to bash a little recreational cannabis or Delta-8 use before a live music event. Seth Rogen, however, learned the hard way that if you choose to go that route, you might want to double-check that the event isn’t being taped for national television: As the comedian divulged during his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Wednesday night (December 1st), he arrived at a recent Adele concert, stoned and ready, only to discover that the show was being taped for the singer’s two-hour CBS special, Adele One Night Only. “I got an invitation — ‘do you want to go to a small Adele concert?’ is what I remember absorbing,” Rogen began. “[My wife Laurie and I] were like, ‘it’s an Adele concert! It’s in the park!’ We smoked a ton of weed,...

Wyclef Jean Dropped Range Rover’s CEO on His Head During Corporate Party

In a scene straight out of Succession, Wyclef Jean was hired to play a corporate gig for Range Rover, only to then nearly paralyze the company’s CEO by dropping him on his head. TMZ has video of the incident (see below), which occurred at the Range Rover Leadership Summit on Monday night. At some point during the evening, Wyclef decided to hoist the company’s CEO and President, Joe Eberhardt, onto his shoulders. With The Outfield’s “I Don’t Wanna Lose Your Love Tonight” playing in the background, the two basked in the surreal moment — until it all came tumbling down. Wyclef eventually lost his balance and proceeded to drop the elder Eberhardt right on his head. Fortunately, Eberhardt escaped seriously injury, but he certainly appears dazed in the video, and ended up leaving the party early...

Steve Buscemi Dresses As “How Do You Do, Fellow Kids?” Meme for Halloween

“How do you do, fellow kids?” is how Steve Buscemi greeted trick or treaters who stopped by his Park Slope, Brooklyn home on Halloween. In what is without a doubt the year’s best Halloween costume, Buscemi donned the infamous outfit that inspired one of the Internet’s famous memes. On an episode of 30 Rock aired in 2012, Buscemi cameoed as a private detective named Lenny Wosniak. In one especially memorable scene, Buscemi’s recounts the time he infiltrated a high school by donning a backward red baseball cap, red hoodie, “music band” t-shirt, and skateboard and greeting students by saying, “How do you do, fellow kids?” The scene quickly became a viral sensation and remains an extremely popular meme nearly a decade later. Wearing that very same outfit (skateboard included!), Buscemi handed ...

Kanye West Gives Rare Live Performance at Italian Wedding: Watch

Kanye West performed live for the first time in three years during a wedding reception for D’Estree founder Geraldine Guiotte and Tiffany & Co executive vice president Alexander Arnault. Per TMZ, Kanye was among the luminaries in attendance for the soiree, which went down in Venice, Italy over the weekend. Other guests included Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Questlove, Pharrell Williams, and Chic’s Nile Rodgers, among others. Kanye, donning a custom Balenciaga mask, took the stage and performed “Runaway” and “Flashing Lights.” Notably, it marked Kanye’s first time performing secular music solo since late 2018. (In recent years, his live appearances have been almost exclusively alongside his Sunday Service gospel choir.) Unfortunately, the mask obstructed Kanye’s vocals, making it difficult to hear...
