Hans Zimmer’s Complete Mission: Impossible 2 Score to Receive First-Ever Vinyl Release
Hard to believe it’s been 20 years since Mission: Impossible 2, but here we are two decades removed from Tom Cruise’s lush, silk mane. To celebrate, Mondo and Hollywood Records have announced the debut vinyl pressing of Hans Zimmer’s complete score. Featuring a dozen unreleased or expanded tracks, Zimmer’s score is presented in full, sourced from the original master tapes, and presented on 2×180 Gram vinyl. Mastodon Working on New Album, Recording Song for New “Bill & Ted” Movie
Mastodon were making significant progress on their highly anticipated new album, until the coronavirus pandemic delayed production. In a new interview, guitarist Bill Kelliher revealed the metal band had laid down 20 rough songs when the recording process came to a halt. “We were kind of right in the middle of it and we had about, I don’t know, 20 rough songs recorded right before this [pandemic] hit. And it just totally put the brakes on it,” Kelliher told RocknRoll Beer Guy. In 2016, Hillary Clinton became the first female presidential candidate to be backed by a major US party. Gender was not surprisingly a hot button issue throughout the Clinton vs. Donald Trump election, dividing households nationwide, but longtime film director Paul Feig believes that the vitriol against Clinton had a substantial impact beyond politics: he blames the anti-Hillary movement for the backlash he received for his female-led Ghostbusters reboot. Denzel Washington Comes to Aid of Homeless Man
Denzel Washington assisted a homeless man in distress in Los Angeles on Thursday. According to TMZ, Washington pulled over to assist a man who was in “some peril with oncoming traffic.” The 65-year-old actor was able to comfort the man and “brought him to safety on the sidewalk.” Even after police arrived, Washington remained by the man’s side and brought him food and a drink.
