First Pantera Reunion Shows Announced as Part of Slipknot’s South American Knotfests

The first Pantera reunion shows have been announced as part of Slipknot’s South American Knotfest dates. The reunited Pantera lineup, featuring original members Philip Anselmo and Rex Brown alongside Zakk Wylde and Charlie Benante, appear on all three bills: December 9th in Colombia; December 11th in Chile; and December 18th in Brasil. Shooting Shuts Down Pennsylvania Festival Musikfest

A shooting at Musikfest in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania on Saturday resulted in a chaotic scene that saw several attendees get trampled.  As The Morning Call reports, law enforcement, including FBI agents, arrived at the festival at around 11:00 p.m. local time after the shooting caused what witnesses described as a stampede. “I saw a lot of people falling and get stepped on,” one person wrote on Facebook. “I helped a young man who’s hands were bleeding pretty bad and couldn’t catch his breath (he’s ok).” Police described the shooting as an isolated incident, and Bethlehem Police Chief Michelle Kott said the festival was shut down as a safety precaution. “Law enforcement is on site and in control of the situation,” Kott said. “There is no known continuing threat to the public.” Advertiseme...

One Person Killed, Dozens Injured After Stage Collapse at Medusa Festival in Spain

One person was killed and more than a dozen others were injured after a stage collapsed at Medusa Festival in Valencia, Spain on Saturday. High winds exceeding more than 50 mph reportedly caused a partial collapse of the festival’s main stage, according to Reuters. “At around four in the morning unexpected and violent strong winds destroyed certain areas of the festival, forcing management to make the immediate decision to vacate the concert area to guarantee the safety of attendees, workers and artists,” festival organizers said in a statement.
