The Big Climate Thing 2022: The Roots, HAIM, Sheryl Crow Playing Inaugural NYC Fest

The Big Climate Thing Festival is the, uh, next big thing in New York’s live music scene. The Roots, HAIM, and Sheryl Crow are slated to perform at the inaugural three-day event this September 16th-18th at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens. Khruangbin, The Flaming Lips, and Gary Clark Jr. are also among those billed for the green-focused fest, presented by Climate Control Projects and benefitting Brian Eno’s EarthPercent. Jack Antonoff trotted out a cavalcade of surprises and special guests during his Bonnaroo SuperJam set on Saturday night (June 18). Titled “Jack Antonoff 1984,” the Bleachers frontman’s show at Great Stage Park was dedicated to his birth year, and kicked off with a cover of Van Halen’s “Jump” courtesy of Claud. Bonnaroo to Livestream 64 Sets on Hulu: See the Schedule

Bonnaroo will air a number of this weekend’s performances live on Hulu. Between June 16th and 19th, Hulu subscribers can catch 64 Bonnaroo sets airing across two channels. The livestream schedule includes marquee sets from J. Cole, Machine Gun Kelly, Roddy Ricch, 21 Savage, Flume, and Herbie Hancock. Rolling Loud New York: Nicki Minaj, Future, and A$AP Rocky Headline 2022 Lineup

Rolling Loud New York is ready to bring the volume to Queens with a 2022 lineup headlined by Nicki Minaj, Future, and A$AP Rocky. The three-day festival goes September 23rd through the 25th at Citi Field in Queens. Rocky returns after headlining the 2019 edition, though both he and the festival have grown since then, with Rolling Loud becoming more established and Rocky becoming Mr. Rihanna. III Points Festival 2022: LCD Soundsystem and Flume Join Rosalía as Headliners

III Points Music Festival will be returning to Miami’s Mana Wynwood from October 21st to 22nd, and now its previously announced 2022 headliner Rosalía will officially be joined at the top of the line by Flume, LCD Soundsystem, and more. The two-day multimedia event is hosting one of its biggest lineups yet with over 150 artists across its typical six-stage setup as well as visual arts installations and on-site experiences. As usual, the festival blurs the line between genres with acts like James Blake, Black Coffee, Porter Robinson, Orbital, Joji, Chris Lake, Freddie Gibbs, Kenny Beats, Pink Siifu, Shygirl, and Fisher all making appearances. Mad Cool Festival Finalizes 2022 Lineup

In a less than a month, Mad Cool Festival will return to Madrid for five action-packed days of live music. Today, organizers finalized the festival’s 2022 lineup with one last round of artist additions. Alongside international acts like Incubus and Mother Mother, two heralded Ukrainian musicians — Alina Pash and Alyona Alyona — have joined the bill. Several exciting Spanish artists also make up the final wave of additions, including ORSLOK, Jimena Amarillo, and b1n0, among others. BTS’ J-Hope Joins Lollapalooza’s 2022 Lineup as Sunday Headliner

BTS’ J-Hope has been added to Lollapalooza’s 2022 lineup as a Sunday headliner, making him the first South Korean artist to headline a main stage at a US festival. He replaces Doja Cat, who was forced to drop out of the festival after undergoing tonsil surgery. “It’s a thrilling new challenge that I think will become a really memorable chapter in my musical history! The mighty Dethklok will return to the stage at the 2022 Adult Swim Festival Block Party, which is being staged on the East Coast for the first time. The three day event is taking place August 5th through 7th in Philadelphia, and will also headlining performances from Run the Jewels and Tierra Whack. Dethklok, of course, are everyone’s favorite band from the beloved Adult Swim animated series Metalocalypse.
