Nigerian government approves reopening of NYSC orientation camps
The Federal Government has given the nod for the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) to begin preparations for reopening of orientation camps nationwide. Orientation camps were shut in March as part of measures to curb the spread of COVID-19. The Federal Executive Council (FEC), presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari, on Wednesday in Abuja approved N1.1billion for the acquisition of a 156-room accommodation for use by Staff of the Nigeria Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA). Zamfara state government has warned illegal miners operating in the state despite Federal Government’s ban on mining activities, to desist or face prosecution.
