Fresh from opening London Fashion Week in a cutout corset and oversized hat at the Harris Reed show last week, the style icon arrived in an equally stylish ensemble for the 2023 BAFTAs. The actor, whose film "The Wonder" is nominated for outstanding British film, brought drama to the red carpet wearing a tomato red strapless gown by Harris Reed at Nina Ricci and hair that gave us '90s feels. The sheer fabric of Pugh's dress was gathered and ruched in the body before fanning out to a fishtail bottom with layers of pleated tulle to mirror the structured tulle detail at the neckline. London Fashion Week opened with a touch of Hollywood glamour on 16 Feb., courtesy of Florence Pugh. The actor made a surprise appearance on the runway of the Harris Reed autumn / winter 23 show at the Tate Modern wearing a harlequin sequin skirt with thigh-high slit, black corset top with hip cutouts, and a huge disc hat as she delivered an opening monologue to kick off the show. "Clothing has transformative power, whether for an actor or simply a performer on the stage of life, the art of dressing up allows us to express who we truly are, creating a safe space to inhabit in a sometimes judgmental world," she said while walking the spotlit runway.
