Former Governor of Zamfara State, Senator Ahmed Sani Yerima, says there has never been any agreement in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to zone the presidency to the South-West region in 2023. ExxonMobil staff killed, others wounded in gas flaring accident

It was gathered that the incident happened on Sunday, December 13, 2020, when the victims were about to light up the gas flaring plant. Sources who preferred to remain unnamed said one of the victims who was killed was a supervisor working at the facility’s processing area, while another supervisor injured by the explosion had been rushed to an undisclosed hospital in the state. US country music star Charley Pride has died of complications from Covid-19 at the age of 86, his family said Saturday in a message posted to the singer’s website. The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) has said it received with rude shock the demise of the former Chairman and Publisher of Leadership Newspapers, Sam Nda-Isaiah, and asked the federal government to immortalise him. Bali, a respected general, was member of the highest decision making body of government during the military era in the 1980s. Unknown gunmen in the early hours of Wednesday abducted Israel Inyanabor, a councillor representing Ewohimi Ward One in Esan South-East Local Government Area of Edo State.
