The Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has called for fervent prayers for Nigeria to overcome her current challenges. Omo-Agege who made the call Sunday at the First Session of the Fifth Synod of the Diocese of Sapele (Anglican Communion), Okpe Archdeaconry, asked Nigerians not to despair over the challenges confronting the nation. Speaking on the theme, “The Lord is my Strength and Stronghold”, the Deputy Senate President urged the church to continue to pray for the country. PSC: Why Ibrahim Magu’s name was dropped promotion list

The Police Service Commission (PSC) on Thursday said it dropped the name of former Chairman, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Ibrahim Magu, from promotion list because it is still awaiting clearance from the Office of Attorney General. The PSC had promoted 24 CPs, 35 DCPs, 52 ACPs, 50 CSPs and dropped Magu from promotion. The Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) says that its leader, Sheik Ibraheem El-Zakzaky, is not an enemy of Nigeria.
