Listen to “Party in Place” Sets from Porter Robinson, ODESZA, deadmau5, Flume, and More

On Friday, July 3rd, RADIO.COM hosted their”Party In Place” virtual concert in support of When We All Vote. For the broadcast, organizers recruited the help of electronic mainstays deadmau5, Disclosure, Flume, Major Lazer, ODESZA, Porter Robinson, REZZ, RÜFÜS DU SOL, and Toro Y Moi. Each artist laid down a mini-set of about 20 minutes to make up the concert’s three-hour runtime. According to a study published in the journal Environmental Pollution by the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science, researchers found that Ultra Music Festival is likely stressful to toadfish. The 2019 iteration of Ultra on the barrier island of Virginia Key, Florida attracted over 170,000 people to Miami Marine Stadium and Virginia Key Beach Park, which is home to many toadfish. Socially Distanced Festival to Take Place in Northern Ireland in August

The organizers behind Northern Ireland’s Stendhal Festival have announced plans to host an impending socially distanced music festival called “Unlocked.” Billed as “the first of its kind in the history of Northern Ireland,” the fest is scheduled to occur over the course of two weekends at Ballymully Cottage Farm in Limavady from August 21st to 22nd and August 28th to 29th, respectively. Austin City Limits Organizers Pull the Plug on 2020 Event

Beloved Texas music fest Austin City Limits is the latest major festival brand to bite the dust due to the impact of COVID-19. Authorities Shut Down 130-Person Party at Amnesia in Ibiza

Local authorities recently shut down a 130-person party at the Ibiza nightclub Amnesia. The club was not permitted to host parties as local law states that Balearic Island venues with a capacity of over 300 may not open due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Early Sunday morning, nearby residents called local authorities and reported that there was a party inside Amnesia. Police discovered that there were 130 people inside and that they were not social distancing or wearing masks.
