Eric Prydz Teases 2023 HOLO Tour

Eric Prydz has slyly teased that a massive 2023 tour is likely on the horizon.  Back in September, Prydz’ world-famous HOLO show series was announced as part of Ultra Music Festival’s 2023 lineup. Even on a stacked lineup with Carl Cox, Hardwell and other electronic music greats, it was an immediate standout on the bill.  While it was the subject of much interest at the time, it seems the Ultra announcement was just the tip of the iceberg for something even bigger: a 2023 HOLO tour. Prydz stopped short of divulging all the details, but he gave enough of a teaser on Twitter to spark some excitement. For those unfamiliar with Prydz’s HOLO, it is widely regarded as one of the most—if not the most—visually stunning and forward-thinking touring shows. The jaw-droppin...

It’s here where Cox has enraptured the nation’s electronic music community since 2017. Carl Cox performs at Ultra’s RESISTANCE Megastructure. Rudgrcom But that wasn’t always the ca...

That year, the EDM bubble looked more like a 5 Gum commercial, a mind-bending maelstrom of fantastical electronic music festivals and totemic tracks. Rave culture bubbled up from the underground and exploded through the mainstream, leading to a collective serotonin rush that still remains. And while the EDM ecosystem is still thriving, it’s markedly different from those days, when DJs and producers pumped out hits like a broken printer. 2012 gave rise to a slew of generational dance anthems, which are now relics of a bygone era. Read on to turn back the clock a ...
