Disney’s ‘Daredevil’ Series To Debut in March 2025

Over five years since Netflix axed its own Daredevil show, a new series based on the character will be premiering soon. Disney’s Daredevil: Born Again has just received a March 2025 release date.Born Again was first announced in 2022 but it wasn’t until April of this year that filming on the show wrapped. The first season will consist of nine episodes and will mark part of Phase Five of the MCU.Charlie Cox, who played Matt Murdock/Daredevil in the Netflix show, will be reprising his role. Since that show was canceled, Cox made appearances as the character in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home and 2022’s Disney series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law. Earlier this year, it was announced that The Hunt For Gollum, a new Lord of the Rings movie set before the events of The Fellowship Of The Ring, would be premiering in 2026. Luca Guadagnino is supposedly set to direct a new adaptation of Bret Easton Ellis' American Psycho.Deadline reports that the filmmaker is "in final negotiations" to helm the upcoming version, which will also see Scott Z. Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures TV are restarting work on its upcoming God of War live-action series adaptation after the exit of three of its executive producers.Deadline reports that Hawk Ostby, Mark Fergus and Rafe Judkins, the last of whom also served as showrunner, departed from the project after finishing several scripts. Netflix Forecasts 11% Increase in Revenue to at Least $43 Billion USD

Netflix has exceeded expectations for Q3 2024 and its results have helped to forecast an uptick in revenue next year. Variety reported on the Q3 2024 results that beat analyst forecasts, which saw the streaming giant add 5.1 million paid subscribers to a global number of 282.72 million in the third quarter of 2024. The increase marks a 14% year-over-year growth. According to analyst consensus data provided by LSEG, Wall Street forecasted earnings per share of $5.12 USD on $9.77 billion USD in revenue for the July-September quarter. Netflix's revenue saw an increase of 15% from the same time last year and also reported a free cash flow of $2.2 billion USD. ‘Rick and Morty’ Renewed Through Season 12 at Adult Swim

Rick and Morty has officially been renewed up until Season 12 at Adult Swim, taking the series all the way to at least 2029. The Emmy-winning animated series has been greenlit for the next five season, with the eight arriving in 2025. Season 10's renewal was only announced in 2023 and now, just a year later, the show has been announced for its 12th season. The news comes from executive producers Dan Harmon and Scott Marder who said announced it this week during its New York Comic Con panel. Universal has officially set an opening date for Epic Universe, its fourth theme park in Orlando, Florida. Set to open on May 22, 2025, Epic has been dubbed the company’s most ambitious park to date and is reportedly located on a 750-acre lot.The park will be made up of five worlds dedicated to different Universal movie franchises, including Nintendo, Harry Potter and How to Train Your Dragon.
