The Breakfast Club co-host Charlamagne Tha God will host a new weekly series on Comedy Central titled Tha God’s Honest Truth with Lenard “Charlamagne” McKelvey. The show is co-created by Stephen Colbert and executive produced by The Boondocks creator Aaron McGruder. Michaela Coel has reportedly been cast in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. HBO Max has unveiled the slate of programming coming to the streamer in August 2021. Next month’s list is led by Warner Bros., DC and James Gunn‘s highly-anticipated film The Suicide Squad, which hits HBO Max and theaters on the same day. If you’ve ever watched the 1986 Super Mario Bros. film The Great Rescue of Princess Peach! and wished it was available in more modern resolutions, you’re now in luck. YouTube channel Carnivol has spent the past few years painstakingly remastering the cult classic, working from VHS copies in the beginning before moving onto 16mm theatrical versions. While currently still unfinished, the project to upscale the movie into 4K has already cost them upwards of $20,000 USD. To complete the full remastering process, Carnivol is hoping to pass over the raw files to someone else who can take them to the finish line.
