Details of the British star’s character are yet to be revealed, however sources have stated that she was in Atlanta’s Pinewood Studios with director Ryan Coogler. HBO Max has unveiled the slate of programming coming to the streamer in August 2021. Next month’s list is led by Warner Bros., DC and James Gunn‘s highly-anticipated film The Suicide Squad, which hits HBO Max and theaters on the same day. The forthcoming title has no connection to David Ayer’s 2016 offering, but does star some of the same actors including Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller and Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang. Starring Entourage actor Adrian Grenier as the main character, the eight-episode limited series follows Nick Brewer’s mysterious disappearance. The director of the original Space Jam, Joe Pytka, shared harsh criticism on the film’s new sequel, Space Jam: A New Legacy, in an interview with TMZ on Wednesday. “The truth is that LeBron [James] ain’t Michael [Jordan],” Pytka told the outlet, adding that James’ does not possess the same level of star power that Jordan did in the ’90s. If you’ve ever watched the 1986 Super Mario Bros. film The Great Rescue of Princess Peach! and wished it was available in more modern resolutions, you’re now in luck. YouTube channel Carnivol has spent the past few years painstakingly remastering the cult classic, working from VHS copies in the beginning before moving onto 16mm theatrical versions. While currently still unfinished, the project to upscale the movie into 4K has already cost them upwards of $20,000 USD. To complete the full remastering process, Carnivol is hoping to pass over the raw files to someone else who can take them to the finish line.
