Carnivol Spent $20,000 USD Remastering the 1986 ‘Super Mario Bros.’ Film Into 4K

If you’ve ever watched the 1986 Super Mario Bros. film The Great Rescue of Princess Peach! and wished it was available in more modern resolutions, you’re now in luck. YouTube channel Carnivol has spent the past few years painstakingly remastering the cult classic, working from VHS copies in the beginning before moving onto 16mm theatrical versions. While currently still unfinished, the project to upscale the movie into 4K has already cost them upwards of $20,000 USD. To complete the full remastering process, Carnivol is hoping to pass over the raw files to someone else who can take them to the finish line. ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ Manga Ending Hiatus, Returns to Serialization

Shueisha‘s Weekly Shōnen Jump has now announced that Jujutsu Kaisen will be returning to serialization. The popular manga which debuted back in March 2018 recently went on a hiatus due to health concerns for writer and illustrator Gege Akutami. Despite Weekly Shōnen Jump’s editorial department calling for Akutami for quite some time, Akutami pushed on until this June looking to draw towards the conclusion of Jujutsu Kaisen as quick as possible. “Even if I say I’m feeling unwell, this isn’t a serious illness,” he added in his June statement. “Mentally things are functioning as normal, so don’t worry,” said Akutami. Bill Murray Reportedly Joins Cast of Wes Anderson’s Next Film

Bill Murray has reportedly joined the cast of Wes Anderson‘s 11th film. The actor’s role and the title of the forthcoming movie are yet to be announced, however sources have claimed that production will begin this August in Spain. Filming was supposedly moved to Spain from Rome, and reports have stated that sets of desert landscapes were spotted in the town of Chinchón, southeast of Madrid.
