Universal Studios Reveals ‘Fast & Furious 10’ Release Date

Fast & Furious 10 is set to arrive in theaters on April 7, 2023.  In a recent interview with Comicbook, Vin Diesel revealed details regarding the next Fast & Furious franchise film. Justin Lin, who directed Fast & Furious 3 through 6 will be returning for the series’ penultimate film. Fast 10 will be the first of a back-to-back two-film finale for the main saga, which is expected to debut exclusively in theaters. “It is back-to-back. The target release date is 02/23 for the first one and 02/24 for the second one.  We were supposed to release this movie last year, prior to the pandemic. Jeremy Garelick will direct a sequel to Murder Mystery for Netflix, with Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston expected to reprise their roles, according to Deadline. James Vanderbilt wrote the screenplay, and Garelick, who previously wrote The Break-Up, which starred Aniston and Vince Vaughn, will finalize the script. The outlet reported that Netflix is expediting production on the follow-up film, which will shoot in Paris and the Caribbean. DC Comics Partners With Webtoon to Launch New Webcomics

WarnerMedia‘s DC Entertainment has just announced a new partnership with Webtoon, a subsidiary of South Korean Internet giant Naver, to bring DC characters into the world of webcomics. According to the companies, the new standalone webcomics will be accessible to even fans who have never followed the various superheroes’ backstories and previous arcs, and will first launch in English before being translated into other languages shortly after. Webtoon specializes in distributing web-based comics that generally span across 50 to 60 episodes each season, mostly uploaded online in a vertical scroll format. ‘Venom: Let There Be Carnage’ Shares New Posters Amid Delayed Release Date

Eminem is set to make an appearance in 50 Cent and Starz‘s upcoming TV series, Black Mafia Family. According to reports, Eminem will portray the role of Rick Wershe Jr., known to most as former FBI informant White Boy Rick. “I’m honored and appreciative of my good friend Em for supporting my new show ‘BMF,’” 50 said in a statement. “We couldn’t do a show based in Detroit without incorporating the legend that is Eminem.” Wershe was born and raised in Detroit and was an informant for the bureau when he was 14 years old up until he was 16 years old, making him the youngest informant in the 1980s. ‘Adventure Time’ Gets a Gender-Swapped Spinoff Series

Popular Cartoon Network animated series Adventure Time is getting a spinoff series. In a funny nod to the original characters, the new series will focus on Fionna and Cake, instead of Adventure Time‘s Finn and Jake. The two characters were originally introduced in Adventure Time in 2011. In addition to their debut episode, the duo appeared in four other episodes throughout Adventure Time‘s tenure. Indie film and TV studio A24 has tapped J.B. Lockhart, previously chief financial officer for the National Basketball Association (NBA), as its first CFO, according to The New York Times. Lockhart first started working for the NBA in 2013, before being named CFO in 2017. In that role, he spearheaded long-term strategic planning objectives and managed finances for the NBA and its various other entities, which include the WNBA, NBA G League, Basketball Africa League and esports league NBA 2K League.
