Netflix to Launch Docuseries on SpaceX’s Upcoming All-Civilian Flight

Netflix is set to chronicle SpaceX‘s upcoming Inspiration4 first all-civilian flight with a new docuseries titled, Countdown: Inspiration4 Mission to Space. The series is set to debut in five parts with the first two episodes debuting later this fall. The docu is expected to chronicle the events in real-time where each episode will detail how astronauts navigate space. The earlier episodes will focus on the astronaut training that Inspiration4 commander Jared Isaacman and his other crewmates will be undertaking ahead of their space mission. The finale episode date has yet to be released, but Netflix is looking at a late September 2021 date. New Details for ‘Bleach’ 20th-Anniversary Special Manga Chapter Emerge

Following initial word, Shueisha‘s Weekly Shōnen Jump has now confirmed the 20th-anniversary special manga chapter for Bleach. The one-shot for Tite Kubo‘s beloved series will be part of this year’s 35th Weekly Shōnen Jump issue and will feature 74-pages. The “new episode” for the manga was revealed to have one color page and is set to center around a “certain ceremony.” The storied magazine teases the story with the line “Ichigo was invited to Soul Society for a certain ceremony but!?” The upcoming special chapter will appear in the combined Weekly Shōnen Jump issue #36/37 set to release August 10. Anime Opening Themes Are Being Played During the 2021 Tokyo Olympics

Anime fans are getting excited about each new 2021 Tokyo Olympic event but not for the reasons you think. Since the opening theme for ZOIDS was heard during the first day of competitions, users have been making it a game in trying to identify each of the anime themes being used at this year’s Olympic Games. Tracks like Attack on Titan‘s “Guren no Yumiya” (Crimson Bow and Arrow) and Demon Slayer‘s “Gurenge” (Crimson Flower/Red Lotus) were used in the archery events, while the Slam Dunk and Haikyuu!! themes were aptly used for the women’s basketball and men’s volleyball matches, respectively. ‘Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild’ Announces Japanese Voice Cast

Netflix has now announced the Japanese voiceover cast for Monster Hunter: Legends of the Guild along with releasing a fresh Japanese trailer with English subtitles. According to the streaming giant, the cast will include Yuma Uchida as Aiden, Takanori Hoshino as Julius, Yu Shimamura as Mae, Marika Hayashi as Nadia, Setsuji Satoh as Nox, Yugo Sekiguchi as Ravi, Takaki Otomari as Gibson, and Meiko Kawasaki as Lea. The cast will be joined by Pure Imagination Studios’ Steven. F Yamamoto as director alongside Ultimate Spider-Man veteran Joshua Fine as scriptwriter. Producer John Davis recently spoke to Collider regarding the shift of the film becoming live-action, “Taika is writing it. It was a movie that was a huge influence on him growing up. It is one of his favorite movies.
