A new study published highlights the adverse harm of smoking both e-cigarettes and traditional cigarettes together. It is interesting to note that 83 percent of those that use an e-cigarette also regularly smoke traditional cigarettes. Published in the Journal of Korean Family Medicine, the recent South Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey, led by Professor Jo Soo-hyun of the Department of Family Medicine at Chung-Ang University Hospital, collected data from 5,191 adult smokers in South Korea. Analyzing nicotine index and oxidative stress, the study revealed that compound smokers (e-cigarettes and traditional cigarettes) saw greater instances of inflammation and oxidative stress. Hulu and FX have officially debuted the trailer for the adaptation of the post-apocalyptic comic book series, Y: The Last Man, originally published back in 2002. Production for the TV series was an on and off occurrence with the development taking its first swing in 2007 but failed to complete as a featured film. In 2018 the initial pilot episode was shot with Barry Keoghan as the main character Yorick Brown but was scratched out once production for a full season was realized. Quentin Tarantino recently revealed that his dream “good movie” that he thinks audiences will wholeheartedly enjoy, would involve casting Adam Driver as Rambo. In anticipation of its upcoming release, Marvel has now dropped a new featurette for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings over on Twitter, giving fans a closer look at the film’s characters and the actors behind them. Featuring Simu Liu, Awkwafina and Meng’er Zhang — who plays Shang-Chi, Katy and Xialing respectively — the trio sits down together to play a few humor-filled rounds of “Who’s most likely to…” giving Marvel fans a better understanding of both their characters and themselves as actors. After several guest hosts, like LeVar Burton, Jeopardy! is looking to lock in a permanent host to succeed the late Alex Trebek. An inside source has revealed to Deadline that the executive producer of the show, Mike Richards, was appointed to the role. Richards, who has already hosted the show in episode 110 in season 37, has plenty of off-screen experience with his ten-year role as executive producer of The Price Is Right and his contributions to Let’s Make a Deal — he’s a three-time Daytime Emmy Award winner with over 4,000 hours of game show programming under his belt. Recently, James Gunn spoke with Josh Horowitz in a podcast and the director was asked about what it was like to be defending superhero films from those like Martin Scorsese, critically acclaimed director. Brendan Fraser has been cast in Martin Scorsese‘s forthcoming crime drama, Killers of the Flower Moon. According to reports, The Mummy staple will be portraying the role of lawyer WS Hamilton. Killers of the Flower Moon is based on the nonfiction book of American journalist David Grann, which explores the murders of wealthy Osage people in the early 1920s after oil deposits were found underneath their land. Jason Momoa is officially vying for the release of a full-length director’s cut of the upcoming sci-fi film Dune. Seth MacFarlane recently took to Twitter to reveal he is still unhappy with the fact that his show, Family Guy is still on Fox. The series first premiered on Fox in January 1999 and has remained on the network since then. In September 2020, it was revealed that Family Guy was renewed for two more seasons by Fox.
