Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige has addressed Simu Liu‘s response to Disney CEO Bob Chapek‘s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings “experiment” comment, calling the situation “a misunderstanding.” According to reports, Feige shared his thoughts during the premiere of Shang-Chi. “[Liu] is not a shy man. I think in that particular tweet you can see — and I think everyone does — a misunderstanding. It was not the intention,” he said. “The proof is in the movie, and we swing for the fences as we always do. With the amount of creative energy we put in and the budget, there’s no expense spared to bring this origin story to the screen.” He added that that the “impactful feel” of Shang-Chi was similar to that of Black Panther‘s. “When you have the opportunity to showcase a hero that looks...

Marvel Studios‘ Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings has long last received its Hollywood premiere. Unfortunately, the public still needs to wait a couple more weeks before they can see the film in theaters. Recently Marvel released a new short trailer to tease the film and announce its pre-order ticket sales. Marvel’s head honcho Kevin Feige previously spoke to Rotten Tomatoes and said, “Shang-Chi is a movie that ended up on a ‘Wouldn’t It Be Great’ list where ‘Wouldn’t it be great if we could do this as a movie,’ probably twenty years ago. It’s a great story of a young man that realizes his father is essentially one of the world’s greatest supervillains and one of th...

Released later this month, Reminiscence sees Jackman as an anti-hero on-screen once again — albeit, this time without the superpowers. Jackman plays Nick Bannister, a veteran living in a near-future version of Miami flooded by rising sea levels, and who is tasked with aiding those seeking to escape the bleak present-day by reliving the memories of their choice. But when his newfound lover Mae (played by the Mission: Impossible star Rebecca Ferg...
