Adding onto the latest preview of chapter 364 of late Kentaro Miura’s manga Berserk, Japanese publishing house Hakusensha announced that the 41st volume of the dark fantasy series will be rolling out this Christmas Eve. The first volume in three years will be published in both regular and special editions with the latter boasting a canvas artwork done by Miura himself along with a drama visual CD. In the upcoming Berserk art exhibit to be held in Tokyo’s Sunshine City, the event will be utilizing the artwork as its main key visual. Daniel Scali, an Australian man with CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome), has broken the world record for the longest time in the abdominal plank position (male) with a time of nine hours 30 minutes and one second, according to the Guinness World Records. Scali set the record on August 6, 2021, in Adelaide, Australia. His time beats the previous record of eight hours 15 minutes and 15 seconds, which was set in February of last year by ex-marine George Hood, who was 62 years old at the time. Marianna Shafran of Shafran PR, the late actor’s longtime representative, confirmed the sad news to The Hollywood Reporter, “It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Emmy-nominated actor Michael Kenneth Williams. They ask for your privacy while grieving this insurmountable loss.” A representative from the New York Police Department also affirmed that Williams was found dead in his home in Brooklyn on the afternoon of Monday, September 6, however a cause of death was not revealed. Marvel‘s Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings officially opened in cinemas on September 3, marking the studio’s first film centered around an Asian lead. The short clip also gives audiences an unprecedented first look at HBO Max’s highly anticipated show, Peacemaker. Peacemaker sees John Cena reprise his role as the titular character. Denis Villeneuve‘s much-anticipated film, Dune made its official world premiere at the Venice Film Festival over the weekend. The film, which was an adaptation to Frank Herbert’s 1965 sci-fi classic, received an eight-minute standing ovation. Adding to the excitement around its live-action One Piece series, Netflix Japan has teased an image of a script for the adaptation of the popular manga. Taking to Twitter, the Japanese division of the streaming platform shared the series’ logo and a tentative title for Episode one of the live-action show. Drawing from Eiichiro Oda‘s source material, the first episode is titled “Romance Dawn,” following the naming of the first chapter of the One Piece manga.
