A24 Releases Trailer of Upcoming Film ‘C’mon C’mon’ Starring Joaquin Phoenix

A24 has dropped off the official trailer for its upcoming film C’mon C’mon, starring Joaquin Phoenix and helmed by writer-director Mike Mills. The monochromatic drama film sees Phoenix, in his first film since Joker, as documentary filmmaker Johnny. As he works on a project involving interviews with children across the United States, he forges an unexpected bond with his eight-year-old nephew Jesse, portrayed by Woody Norman, while they travel cross-country. Joining Phoenix and Norman are Gaby Hoffman, Molly Webster, Jaboukie Young-White and Scoot McNairy. C’mon C’mon had its world premiere at the Telluride Film Festival over Labor Day Weekend and is set to screen at the New York Film Festival on October 4, however a wide release date is yet to be confirmed. ‘James Bond’ Producer Reveals That the Secret Agent’s Gay Experience Was Almost Cut From ‘Skyfall’

Longstanding James Bond producer Barbara Brocolli recently spoke about a scene in Skyfall that has indicated the secret agent once had a gay experience. Brocolli spoke about the scene in a recent Apple TV+ documentary, Being James Bond, which involves Daniel Craig’s Bond and Javier Bardem’s villain Raoul Silva. In the scene, Raoul is seen caressing Bond who is bound in the chair. When Raoul asks, “You’re trying to remember your training now. What’s the regulation to cover this? Owen Wilson Joins Cast of Disney’s ‘Haunted Mansion’ Reboot

Loki star Owen Wilson has been cast in Disney’s upcoming reboot of Haunted Mansion. According to reports, the actor will join LaKeith Stanfield and Tiffany Haddish, with Dear White People and Bad Hair director Justin Simien helming his first big-budget studio film. Katie Dippold will pen the script, Dan Lin and Jonathan Eirich, who also produced the live-action adaptation of Aladdin, will be producing via Rideback and Nick Reynolds will serve as executive producer. Not a lot of information about the reboot is known, except that the film will begin shooting in Atlanta next month and that it is based on the popular Disneyland ride. ‘Power Rangers Dino Fury’ Reveals the Series’ First LGBTQ+ Ranger

International airings of Power Rangers Dino Fury — the States have to wait until later this month — has just revealed a first in Power Rangers television series history. Without spoiling too much of the story for episode 13 “The Matchmaker,” fans that got an early look at the episode revealed that Izzy, the Green Ranger, came out as the first LGBTQ+ Ranger. This revelation comes just after Izzy’s introductory episode where she declares, “Skirts aren’t really my thing” as she denounced society’s archetype for female uniforms. Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Debuts the Trailer for ‘Injustice’

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has released the trailer for Injustice — a new animated series that’s based off of the NetherRealm Studios video game ‘Injustice: Gods Among Us’ and the DC graphic novel Injustice: Gods Among Us: Year One by Tom Taylor. The new teaser totals out to just over one minute and shows various scenes involving The Joker, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and more. It opens up with the Joker and Harley Quinn ambushing a pregnant Lois Lane, the latter of which strikes her head with a giant mallet and knocks her out cold. Later on in the clip, we find that Lane dies from this altercation, and this causes Superman — who’s played by Justin Hartley — to spiral out and attempt to take charge of the planet. WWE Wrestlers Must ‘Escape the Undertaker’ in Netflix’s Upcoming Interactive Horror Film

Netflix has an interactive horror special in the works with WWE’s The Undertaker that will be available for streaming ahead of Halloween. Entitled Escape the Undertaker, the Netflix Original will star the eponymous wrestler, whose real name is Mark Calaway, alongside the WWE Raw team The New Day, made up of Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. “In this interactive film featuring WWE Superstars, The Undertaker has set a trap for the decorated tag team The New Day at his mansion,” the synopsis reads. “What they don’t know: The Undertaker’s mansion is an extreme Haunted House, packed to the brim with supernatural challenges.” Playing the movie will take about roughly 30 minutes per run and the interactive design offers varied storylines depending on the choices made by the player. “It’s up ...

Netflix has released a new trailer for Jake Gyllenhaal‘s 911 operator thriller The Guilty in anticipation of its October debut. A remake of a Danish film of the same name from 2018, The Guilty follows Gyllenhaal’s character of 911 dispatcher Joe Baylor over the course of a single day. The new trailer starts off by showing a series of irrelevant or prank calls made to the dispatch center, making for what would seem to be a slow day at the office. Things take a sudden and dire turn however when a woman in grave danger calls in, forcing Baylor to use every resource he can in order to save her. ‘One Piece’ Releases “Twilight” MV For Live-Action Mini Series ‘We Are One’

To celebrate the 100th volume of One Piece hitting the shelves last week and episode 1,000 of the anime in November, a short live-action series, We Are One, adapted from the manga has been released. Featuring the powered-up actions and combat illustrated in Eiichiro Oda’s manga, the five-episode short drama focuses on how people deal with real-world issues while incorporating elements of  One Piece. Known for providing music to the animated movie Your Name, Japanese rock band Radwimps has produced the theme song “Twilight” for We Are One where the music video stars the cast from the drama and anime and fans of the anime. Hulu Subscriptions Are Getting a Price Hike Next Month

Hulu is reportedly increasing its subscription prices next month. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Disney-owned streaming platform will be raising prices for both its ad-supported and ad-free tiers, and changes will affect both new and existing customers. Those in the former plan will see a price increase from $5.99 USD to $6.99 USD a month, while the latter will go from $11.99 USD to $12.99 USD a month. As for the customers subscribed to the Disney streaming bundle or live TV plan, subscription prices will remain unchanged. Hulu currently boasts 42.8 million subscribers, 39.1 million of which are subscribed to its SVOD plan. Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have confirmed that they are pregnant with their second child. The beauty mogul took to Instagram to officially announce the news, sharing a short video that sees her delivering the news to Scott and her mother Kris Jenner separately, along with clips from her birthday and trips to the doctor. In late August, rumors began to swirl that Jenner and Scott, who co-parent their eldest daughter, Stormi Webster, were expecting their second child. Reports at the time noted that the 24-year-old is in the “very early stages” of the pregnancy.
