Peacock and Will Smith revealed the casting of Jabari Banks as the lead actor for the modern revival of the ’90s sitcom, BEL-AIR. With Will Smith assuming the role of an executive producer of the show, Peacock has announced the cast who will be portraying all the old favorites for the confirmed two-season order. Mayim Bialik and Ken Jennings will co-host the long-running trivia TV show Jeopardy! for the remainder of this year, Sony Pictures Television announced on Thursday. Beginning Monday, September 20, Bialik will appear as host for several weeks of episodes that are scheduled to air through November 5. Jennings, who previously won the trivia show, will then split hosting duties with the actress depending on their schedules. The two hosts will film enough episodes to carry through the rest of 2021, while Sony continues its search for a permanent daytime host. Netflix has picked up the heist drama Jigsaw to series, enlisting Breaking Bad actor Giancarlo Esposito to star among an ensemble cast. The show which Netflix says takes a “nonlinear approach to storytelling in a way where viewers are in control,” is inspired by a true story where $70 billion USD in bonds vanished during Hurricane Sandy in downtown Manhattan. Announcing the news over at the Dai-2 kai Gundam Conference on Wednesday, Sunrise revealed the franchise’s next TV project called Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury. Disney+ has tapped a slew of artists to join the voice cast of its reboot of the animated series The Proud Family. Chance the Rapper, Lil Nas X and Lizzo have all signed on to the show, adding to a long list of celebrities that comprise the cast. Created by Bruce W. According to reports, Tracy Morgan is now set to join Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito for the sequel to 1988’s buddy comedy film, Twins.
