The Giant Animatronic Doll From ‘Squid Game’ Actually Exists in Real Life

Fans of Squid Game may be excited — or horrified– to discover that the giant animatronic doll featured in the first episode of the Netflix K-drama series actually exists in real life. The innocent-looking figure plays a gruesome role in the survival show, introducing players to the first of several life-or-death challenges. As it turns out, the doll is real and was momentarily on display at a horse carriage museum called Macha Land, according to Newsweek. The museum is located in Jincheon County, about three hours outside of South Korea’s capital city of Seoul. The doll was originally manufactured for filming and stood outside the museum’s entrance up until a few days ago when its manufacturer decided to keep the doll. Korean newspaper Hankook Ilbo reported that the doll was intended to be...

In a recent installment of GQ‘s “Undercover” series, Will Smith revealed what he considers to be the best and worst work of his acting career. “For the best,  I think it is a tie between the first Men in Black and The Pursuit of Happyness,” Smith said. “For different reasons, those are the two almost perfect movies.” In Men in Black, which ultimately turned into a wide-spanning franchise, Smith stars alongside Tommy Lee Jones as an agent of a secret organization that supervises extraterrestrial life on Earth. For The Pursuit of Happyness, Smith received an Oscar nomination for Best Actor for his role as the homeless salesman Chris Gardner in the 2006 biographical drama. ‘No Time To Die’ Nears $7 Million USD on First Day at U.K. Box Office

Following a two-year period of delays and postponements as a result of COVID-19, the 25th film in the James Bond series, No Time To Die, premiered in the U.K. earlier this week, with reports suggesting it made as much as $6.7 million USD. It’s no secret that cinema admissions across the U.K. have dropped considerably as a result of the pandemic, with a reported 44 million attendees throughout the whole 2020 — a sharp decline from the 176 million the year before. Despite these figures, early signs from Daniel Craig‘s final 007 outing certainly leaves room for optimism, with Universal also announcing it as the U.K.’s “widest theatrical release of all time” following screenings at 772 cinemas nationwide on Thursday — overtaking 2019’s Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker. While it may take some time ...

The man, who initially had not heard of the show, first thought they were spam calls. The man told MBC that he does not want to change his number, as he has used it for a decade and it is linked to his business. Despite not appearing in James Gunn‘s The Suicide Squad, Will Smith is still open to reprising his role as Deadshot. It was a timing issue,” Smith confirmed, also confirming that his role was not recast and that Idris Elba was not Deadshot. “A different character?” he checked with a person off-camera, continuing, “Alright, cool.
