Here’s How DC Comics Fans Celebrated Batman Day on Twitter

Over the weekend, DC Comics fans celebrated Batman Day. As an event started in 2014 to mark the 75th anniversary of the first appearance of the Dark Knight, the date was chosen to also coincide with San Diego Comic-Con. Fans poured in over Twitter to express their admiration for the Caped Crusader and the various actors who have played the superhero across numerous movie iterations of the franchise. On top of the numerous memes, fan art, and cosplay tweets, fans were most excited to see Matt Reeves tease a behind-the-scenes shot of the editing room in anticipation of the release of The Batman. Netflix has released the official trailer for the third season of its psychological thriller, You.  The third season picks up after Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) and the pregnant Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti) move to Northern California to start their new lives, in an effort to leave behind their horrific actions in Los Angeles. But wherever Goldberg goes, obsession and murder follow. Now that Goldberg has met his match with his wife, the situation becomes even stickier. ‘Dune’ Director Denis Villeneuve Say Marvel Films “Turned Us Into Zombies”

Dune director Denis Villeneuve has offered his own criticism on the artistic substance of Marvel films. Villeneuve is not the first director to weigh in on the debate as Martin Scorsese once compared MCU movies to theme parks. Guillermo del Toro has released the trailer for his upcoming film Nightmare Alley, starring Bradley Cooper and Cate Blanchett.
