Jung Ho-yeon from the psychological thriller Squid Game is now the most followed Korean actor on Instagram.  Jung’s follower count has soared from 400,000 before the launch of the series to 14.7 million at the time of writing. Playing the role of North Korean defector Park Hae-soo in what’s on track to become the most-watched show on Netflix, Jung won over the hearts of fans in her very first acting role. Making her name as a fashion model, Jung worked hard to prepare for her role as a storied pickpocket. “I watched a lot of documentaries about North Korean defectors. Funimation Releases ‘My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission’ English Dubbed Trailer

Funimation has revealed an English-dubbed trailer for My Hero Academia‘s third anime movie, World Heroes’ Mission. The film debuted in Japan on August 6 and sold approximately 720,000 tickets on its opening weekend alone, and has become the highest-earning film in the franchise. The film will now premiere in over 1,500 theaters in the US, UK, Canada, and Ireland on October 29, and Australia and New Zealand on October 28. Spanish and Portuguese dubbed films will also screen in Latin America. Russian Actress and Producer Dock in Space for 12-Day Cosmic Movie Shoot

A Russian actress and film producer arrived at the International Space Station (ISS) on Tuesday, where they have plans to film the first movie in orbit. Actress Yulia Peresild, 37, and producer Klim Shipenko, 38, joined cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, 49, on a Soyuz MS-19 spaceship, which took off from Russia’s Baikonur Cosmodrome in ex-Soviet Kazakhstan. After rounding the Earth twice, the capsule approached the ISS, where Shkaplerov took over the vehicle’s controls to manually dock the spaceship.
