‘Shenmue’ Releases First Trailer for Animated Series

Fans of Yu Suzuki’s Shenmue saga have a new reason to celebrate as visuals for the 13-episode animated series have just been previewed at this year’s New York Comic Con. Directed by Chikara Sakurai of One Punch Man season 2, Magimoji Rurumo, and Lost Song, the series will also see Yu Suzuki as the executive producer. The original SEGA Dreamcast game with a cult following has not made headlines since its 2019 Shenmue III release which saw record funding through Kickstarter. ‘Blade Runner: Black Lotus’ Receives a New Trailer

The new anime series from Adult Swim and Crunchyroll, Blade Runner: Black Lotus, received a new trailer at New York Comic Con 2021 on Thursday. It has also been announced that the series will premiere with on November 13. The trailer is set in neo-DTLA featuring Blade Runner‘s signature cyberpunk aesthetic of flying cars and flashing neon billboards. The two-and-a-half-minute trailer provides quick glimpses of the show’s antagonist Niander Wallace Sr, the father of Niander Wallace Jr. featured in Blade Runner 2049, and replicant Elle, voiced by The Matrix: Resurrections actress Jessica Henwick. ‘One Piece Film: Strong World’ Will Premiere in the U.S.

To celebrate episode 1,000 of One Piece anime in November, anime studio Toei Animation and entertainment provider Fathom Events announced that One Piece Film: Strong World will be screened at select theatres in the U.S. for the first time. Debuted in 2011 in Japan, the tenth feature film is written by creator Eiichiro Oda. The iconic plot centers around Shiki, the evil captain who kidnaps Nami to force her to join his team, or else the Straw Hats will die after being sent to an island with monsters. A “WandaVision” spinoff is in the works at Disney Plus from Marvel Studios, Variety reported, citing exclusive information from sources. Set after the events of 2019’s Avengers: Endgame, “WandaVision” debuted in January and follows Wanda (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany) after they relocate to a quiet suburb, only to discover that their surroundings are strangely moving through different decades. A group of investigators has now claimed to have identified exactly who the Zodiac Killer is. According to new reports, an investigative team specializing in cold cases known as The Case Breakers has uncovered the true identity of the infamous serial killer who terrorized California across the ’60s. Consisting of 40 journalists, law enforcement officers and military intelligence personnel, the group claims that the Zodiac Killer was a man by the name of Gary Francis Poste. Netflix will be editing out the phone number from the business cards in Squid Game after several supposed owners claimed that they were receiving prank calls. “Together with the production company, we are working to resolve this matter, including editing scenes with phone numbers where necessary,” Netflix shared via Reuters. Reports also state that the streaming service and Squid Game producers Siren Pictures purposely only showed the last eight digits of the phone number, but they were unaware that the prefix will “automatically be added to complete the number.” Several people have stepped up to claim ownership over the phone number. Quentin Tarantino has recently revealed the real reason why he chose to alter the film ending of Once Upon A Time…In Hollywood to differ from the novel. The particular scene in question pertains to the emotional phone call Leonardo Dicaprio’s character Rick Dalton has with Julia Butters’s Trudi Fraser.
