Russell Crowe and Zac Efron are set to star in Peter Farrelly’s film adaptation of the book, The Greatest Beer Run Ever: A True Story of Friendship Stronger Than War written by Joanna Molloy and John “Chickie” Donohue. The film, which has a shortened title, The Greatest Beer Run Ever, is based on a true story of the author, Donohue, who in 1967, left New York to track down a childhood friend from the army for a beer. According to Variety, Production for the film is set in Vietnam, though filming is using Thailand as a stand-in. The Sopranos franchise may be receiving another series, Deadline reported. The publication spoke to a CEO at WarnerMedia who said that Chase would possibly be up for writing another spin-off for the series. “We’re talking to David about a new series, Sopranos related,” said Ann Sarnoff, CEO of Studios and Networks Chase penned a prequel to the show, The Many Saints of Newark, which hit theaters last month. Universal Pictures has just dropped the first trailer for Ambulance, an upcoming heist and action film by Michael Bay featuring Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II. Based on a Danish film by the name of Ambulance, the upcoming movie follows two old friends who decide to rob a bank in order to pay for surgery for one of their wives. As things pan out, the heist goes south and Gyllenhaal and Abdul-Mateen II are forced to escape on a hijacked ambulance, which happens to be carrying a police officer who was shot during the altercation. With less than a month away from the theatrical release of King Richard, Warner Bros. has released a new trailer, this time focusing on the Will Smith playing Venus and Serena Williams‘ loving and doting father. Smith is cast as the titular character, “King” Richard Williams, also known as the father and coach of two of tennis’ biggest stars. According to reports, the home was used as the façade for the film’s protagonist and was fictionally known to be located on 1428 Elm Street, but is actually found in Spaulding Square, Los Angeles. Director Patty Jenkins has officially confirmed that Wonder Woman 3 is currently in the early stages of development. Over this past weekend’s DC FanDome, Jenkins revealed to fans that she was “super excited” about the upcoming project but was equally “bummed” that Gal Gadot could not be there to make the announcement with her.
