Cillian Murphy Confirmed as J. Robert Oppenheimer in Christopher Nolan’s Next Film

Following rumors last month tying Irish actor Cillian Murphy to Christopher Nolan‘s next film about the father of the atomic bomb J. Robert Oppenheimer, his casting has now been officially confirmed. According to Deadline, Murphy will portray Oppenheimer himself, the renowned theoretical physicist who played a central role in the creation of the atomic bomb during World War II. The film itself will be based on the Pulitzer prize-winning book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer authored by Kai Bird and the late Martin J. Sherwin. Take a First Look at Timothée Chalamet as Willy Wonka in ‘Wonka’

Following his casting news, Timothée Chalamet has now shared a first look at his take on Willy Wonka in Warner Bros. prequel film, Wonka. Taking to Instagram, Chalamet shared a series of images from the set of the film directed by Paul King. Writing, “The suspense is terrible, I hope it will last, the young actor shared his excitement about the project centered around Will Wonka before the opening of his chocolate factory. Aside from offering a look at his costume, Chalamet revealed a surprise hidden in his younger take on the character’s walking cane. The announcement, which came at the end of September from Kodansha Comics, detailed the publishing company’s return to the premier anime convention in New York City. By showcasing the art by Attack on Titan creator Hajime Isayama, the exhibition is set to celebrate the conclusion of the immensely popular series. Paramount Pictures and the involved parties have responded to Bam Margera‘s lawsuit regarding his firing from Jackass Forever.
