A Live-Action ‘Scooby-Doo’ Series Is Reportedly in the Works at Netflix

The Scooby-Doo franchise could be receiving new life over at Netflix.Sources tell Variety that the series is currently "nearing a deal" "with a script-to-series commitment." Plot details and the cast that will make up the Mystery Inc. gang are unconfirmed for now, but reports add that the project is being described as a "one-hour drama" with Warner Bros. SZA To Make Acting Debut Alongside Keke Palmer in New Issa Rae-Produced Comedy Film

SZA and Keke Palmer are reuniting for a new comedy produced by Issa Rae.Deadline reports that while plot details are yet to be revealed, the still-untitled film will be a "buddy comedy" movie with Rap Sh!t's Lawrence Lamont directing and showrunner Syreeta Singleton writing the screenplay.
