Disney Delays Release Dates of ‘Doctor Strange 2,’ ‘Black Panther 2,’ ‘Thor 4’ and More

Disney will be postponing the release dates of several titles and the highly-anticipated Marvel sequels of Doctor Strange, Black Panther, Thor and more. According to reports, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will now premiere on May 6, 2022 instead of March 25, Thor: Love and Thunder will premiere on July 8, 2022 instead of May 6, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will premiere on November 11 instead of July 8, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania will premiere on July 28, 2023 instead of February 17, The Marvels has been moved to early 2023 and an untitled Marvel project will premiere on November 3, 2023 instead of October 11. Disney Delays Three Upcoming Marvel Studios Films

Disney has now officially delayed all three of its upcoming Marvel films originally slated for release in 2022. According to a new report from Variety, the media giant has been forced to push back all three release dates due to production delays snowballing from the COVID-19 pandemic. As the outlet points out, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has become so intertwined that any delay in one film would almost definitely result in a domino effect. For now, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness has been moved back from March 25, 2022 to May 6, taking the spot previously slated for Thor: Love and Thunder. According to Bloomberg, the South Korean survival drama show created $891.1 million USD in impact value, which is described as “a metric the company uses to assess the performance from individual shows.” Documents reveal that Squid Game’s debut season cost about $2.4 million USD an episode, totalling to approximately $21.4 million USD.
