Celsius wants to extend the deadline for claims as lawyer fees mount

Bankrupt crypto lender Celsius Network is planning to file a motion that would extend the deadline for users to submit their claims by another month. The crypto community has started to grow impatient, noting that Celsius’ lawyer fees have continued to stack up and are eating away at the lender’s estate. In a Dec. 29 tweet, Celsius announced that it would seek to extend the current deadline for claims from Jan. 3 to early February.  The bankruptcy court is set to hear the motion on Jan. 10, and according to Celsius, the Jan. 3 deadline will be extended until at least then. All Mike Posner knows are sad songs.  Despite the lyrical weight of his recent single, the Grammy-nominated pop star once again opts to see the glass half full by sharing a new edit of “I’m Not Dead Yet,” produced by the collaborative force of ellis and Zedd. Posner has always worn his heart on his sleeve, and “I’m Not Dead Yet,” marks another characteristically open and candid lyrical offering. Much like Seeb’s high-flying remix of “I Took A Pill In Ibiza,” the new version of “I’m Not Dead Yet” brings an almost paradoxically uplifting energy to the production side with bright guitar riffs and playfully pitched vocal chops. Posner leans into the duo’s spirited production, smiling ear-to-ear in the new m...

Dance Into the Weekend With Ellis’ Disco-Inspired House Bop “Don’t Say Ur Sorry (feat. Maribelle)”

Future house young gun Ellis arrived on Monstercat today with his new single “Don’t Say Ur Sorry.” The disco-inspired house single, which features Australian songwriter/producer Maribelle, is part of a forthcoming EP due out on Monstercat later this year. “Don’t Say Ur Sorry” is a groovy, vocal-driven house tune with twangy bass plucks and velvety chord progressions, which lend to a quirky nu-disco and future house hybrid that should open up a new lane of admirers for the London-based producer. Ellis has been making waves in the future house scene over the course of the last couple years. Since his breakthrough remix of Ed Sheeran’s “Shape of You” went viral in the EDM community in January 2017, he steadily rose through the ranks of the genre...
