CRSSD Festival 2022 to Feature Gorgon City, Adam Beyer, SOFI TUKKER, More

San Diego’s biannual CRSSD music festival has revealed the first phase of its lineup for its upcoming spring 2022 event. Once more, the house and techno affair will take over the city’s picturesque downtown Waterfront Park on March 5th and 6th. Administered by FNGRS CRSSD, the two-day fest will be home to a bevy of big names in the genres spread across three distinct stages. Keiki-Lani Knudsen Headlining the Southern California soiree, and riding on the success of their latest album, Olympia, will be Gorgon City alongside Claude VonStroke and Green Velvet‘s collaborative project, Get Real. It’s been over a year since fans of Calvin Harris heard new music from his Love Regenerator alias, but he’s now revived it alongside Eli Brown for a track called “We Can Come Together.” The guys teamed up back in April 2020 for a collaborative EP called Moving, but have since been quiet on the collab front. The Love Regenerator project pays homage to Harris’ roots in house and early rave music. How Eli Brown Channels the Underground Music Scene With Factory 93

Growing up in Bristol, Eli Brown was exposed to a proper underground dance music scene. These experiential days sparked an appreciation for music production, so much so that he decided to start a career of his own. Entranced by drum & bass, Brown began his music career under a different alias, creating songs in the genre for 15 years. Due to the frenetic nature of drum & bass, “There are limitations in what you can and cannot do,” Brown told EDM.com, which left him feeling uninspired.  He ultimately decided to pivot and began experimenting with new sounds, discovering a love for house and techno. “With house and techno you can do more as there is less of a constraint within a tempo and genre,” he explained.
