Zola Jesus Announces New Album Arkhon, Shares “Lost”: Stream

Zola Jesus is back with her first album in five years. The singer-songwriter otherwise known as Nika Roza Danilova will release Arkhon on May 20th via Sacred Bones, and as a preview, she’s shared the single “Lost.” Zola Jesus has long been a solo project for Danilova, but on Arkhon, the musician set aside her pride and tried out collaboration. “At some point, I had to work with other people,” she explained. “I needed new blood. I needed somebody else.” She worked with producer Randall Dunn on the project, and also enlisted Matt Chamberlain (Fiona Apple, Bob Dylan) for drums. Goldman Sachs CEO to DJ at Lollapalooza

You know how it goes: As the festival lineup print gets smaller, the artists tend to be lesser known. But there’s one act toward the bottom of the Lollapalooza 2022 lineup poster who’s actually pretty famous: David Solomon, CEO of Goldman Sachs. The leader of the investment bank is set to perform a DJ set at the Chicago festival this July. Solomon, who’s served as Goldman Sachs’ chief executive officer since 2018, has dabbled in DJing for a while now. “[I] kind of stumbled into it as a hobby, and now I just do it for fun,” he said in a 2017 Goldman Sachs podcast. Solomon tends to spin records at a couple of elite events a year, with the profits going to charity. ††† (Crosses), the project of Chino Moreno and Shaun Lopez, have shared two new songs: “Initiation” and “Protection.” The duo made good on their promise to drop new music come spring, having been freshly signed to Warner Records in December. The new singles mark the first original Crosses material since 2014, following a pair of cover songs released over the past couple years. “Initiation” and “Protection” present the two sides of Crosses. Moderat have unveiled their latest single “EASY PREY” and its accompanying music video. Watch the clip below. The Prodigy Announce First Tour Since Keith Flint’s Death: “This One’s for Flinty”

For the first time since frontman Keith Flint’s passing in 2019, The Prodigy are hitting the road. To bring the fantasy of “Dreamcatching” to life, director Felix Geen used VQGAN+CLIP, a pioneering technology that uses a collection of neural networks working in unison to generate images based on input text and images. PC Music has announced its third compilation album. Out on May 13th, the double LP includes tracks by Charli XCX, Caroline Polachek, Clairo, and more. PC Music Volume 3 collects hits from the record label between 2018 and 2021, as well as a share of “upcoming, unreleased, and unreleasable music.” Charli XCX reunites with frequent collaborator (and PC Music founder) A.G. Cook on “Xcxoplex,” a reworking of his 2020 track “Xxoplex” as first heard on his 2021 remix album Apple vs. 7G. Meanwhile Polachek’s 2018 collab with felicita, “marzipan,” also makes the cut as does Clairo’s single with Danny L Harle, “Blue Angel,” also released in 2018. Madison Chock played an alien and Evan Bates an astronaut in an epic Olympic ice dance routine set to a medley of Daft Punk songs. The pair placed first in the free dance portion of the team figure skating event, helping Team USA take home a silver medal at the 2022 Winter Olympics. Team figure skating began on February 4th and wrapped up with three events on February 7th.
