Electric Zoo’s 2021 Cancún Edition Moved to November, More Headliners Announced
Last summer the organizers of Electric Zoo declared they are “going hard in 2021 with BIG shows and NEW experiences,” announcing a destination event in Cancún from April 7th to 11th, 2021. Despite ongoing efforts, the festival has now been postponed to November 11-14, 2021. EZoo Cancún offers attendees standard, premium, or luxury packages at The Grand Oasis ranging in price from $759 to $849 per person. Electric Zoo Announces Schedule for Day One of 2021 Festival
Those interested in spending their Labor Day Weekend at Electric Zoo can now begin planning their festival itineraries. Announced on Friday was the phase one lineup of the event’s first day. On Twitter, organizers shared a graphic revealing who would be performing at the opening of the weekend festival. The organizers of Electric Zoo have dropped the first phase of the 2021 edition of the famed New York City music festival, and it’s a beast. After announcing that they were planning “the biggest line-up in the history of Electric Zoo” back in July, they are staying true to their word. Following the unfortunate cancellation of their 2020 event in New York due to the impact of COVID-19, the organizers of Electric Zoo are looking to the future. Representatives took to social media today to formally announce the festival’s expansion to Cancún in 2021. “We’re going hard in 2021 with BIG shows and NEW experiences,” they wrote in an Instagram post. “First up – EZoo Adventures: Cancun Edition. Imagine if the music and feel of EZoo married a Dream Beach Vacation, and made a baby. Electric Zoo Forced to Abandon 2020 Festival After NYC Mayor Cancels Large Events Through September
Following the announcement by New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio that all large events in the city are to be cancelled through September, famed festival brand Electric Zoo officially pulled the plug on its 2020 event.
