EDC Las Vegas‘ new stage, bionicJUNGLE, will be a cool addition to one of the hottest festivals in the world. The announcement comes weeks ahead of the 2022 iteration of EDC Las Vegas. The new stage will be located between neonGARDEN and Polygon Park, and it will feature DJs playing various sub-genres of house music. Nearly six months after the 25th anniversary of EDC Las Vegas, Insomniac Events has announced one of the biggest lineups in the festival’s history. Insomniac has included virtually all of the biggest names in electronic music and then some. ILLENIUM, Zedd, Porter Robinson, Armin van Buuren, Charlotte de Witte and so many more are set to grace one or two of the many stages. Las Vegas Police Arrest EDC Ticket-Holder After Threat of “Chemical Attack”

Las Vegas law enforcement recently thwarted one disgruntled EDC ticket-holder’s alleged plan to attack the flagship Insomniac music festival. Abraham Hurtado-Castrejon was arrested outside of a local grocery store and booked on charges of issuing threats in a potential an act of terrorism. Police reportedly seized an illegal 3D printed firearm from the suspect’s home. According to the arrest report, the suspect sent a video message to Insomniac CEO Pasquale Rotella in which he threatened to pop balloons on the festival grounds filled with lethal doses of fentanyl.  Abraham Hurtado-Castrejon is accused of issuing threats of violence against EDC Las Vegas over a dispute relating to his request for a refund on his ticket purchase.
