SLANDER Unveil Emotive Single “Walk On Water” With RØRY and Dylan Matthew

It’s always a good day when a new collaboration from SLANDER and Dylan Matthew arrives. Marking SLANDER’s second single this year following the massive NGHTMRE collaboration “Fall Into Me,” the duo have now unveiled “Walk On Water.” Featuring vocal contributions from Matthew as well as rising alt-rock star RØRY, the track is yet another brilliant display of SLANDER’s singular melodic bass production, laced with emotive lyrics about rekindling a lost love. In a six-minute arrangement that peels away more and more layers as it unfolds, the track is broken up by anthemic breakdown sections and celestial drops. RØRY and Matthew also stun in the song’s poignant duet. Take a listen to “Walk On Water” below. ...

NGHTMRE and SLANDER Unfurl New Chapter In Collaborative Saga With Emotive Single, “Fall Into Me”

The latest offering in the saga of NGHTMRE and SLANDER is a tonal switch-up from the “gud” vibrations of yesteryear.  Their new single “Fall Into Me,” the lead from NGHTMRE’s forthcoming debut album, sees the bass music virtuoso back on a collision course with his most frequent collaborators. However, unlike prior efforts, “Fall Into Me” is characterized by heartstring-tugging verses and somber chord progressions. SLANDER and Dylan Matthew, seemingly have hit-making down to a science, and “Fall Into Me” has the ingredients to continue the trend. Matthew’s vocals are precluded by a melancholic piano solo in the track’s introduction. The “Love Is Gone” vocalist does what he does best, delivering a powerful ver...

Tiësto Teases Remix of SLANDER and Dylan Matthew’s “Love Is Gone”

Another dance music veteran has added their name to the list of artists who’ve taken on SLANDER and Dylan Matthew‘s fan-favorite hit, “Love Is Gone.” As shared on social media, Tiësto is preparing to release a remix of the melodic masterstroke, which dropped back in May 2019. In a heartfelt exchange on Twitter, Derek from SLANDER shared an image of the song’s project file along with an attached note expressing his excitement to work with an artist who he’s admired for many years. Tiësto will join Kaskade, Alok, R3hab, and Armin van Buuren, all of whom released remixes of the song in the summer. Considering the fact that the track will be reimagined by someone outside the bass music world, fans are in for an interesting vision of the belove...

SLANDER and Dylan Matthew Tap Kaskade, Armin van Buuren, More for “Love Is Gone” Remixes

A track so nice, they had to remix it twice. Back in October 2019 SLANDER and Dylan Matthew released a monster remix package for their single “Love Is Gone,” tapping six producers to rework the future bass anthem. Kompany, Crystal Skies and more put their signature touches on the track, taking it to new heights as it rumbled through the festival scene at the time. SLANDER and Matthew have now announced another “Love Is Gone” bundle, which is primed to be even more transformative thanks to a high-profile entourage of remixers. Remixes from R3hab, Kaskade, Alok, and Armin van Buuren will drop over the course of the next month. Kaskade’s edit, in particular, represents a quasi-full circle moment for SLANDER. The duo took to Twitter to gush abo...

SLANDER Will Bring New Show “The Eye Strikes Back” to Red Rocks

The organizers of Colorado’s legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre have added yet another surefire jaw-dropping show to the venue’s already impressive summer lineup.  SLANDER will be taking the stage on Tuesday, July 27th with a brand new show called “The Eye Strikes Back.” While the specifics of the show’s setup aren’t clear, from the looks of it, a sinister stage production is at hand. The beloved melodic bass duo will be bringing along “Love Is Gone” collaborator Dylan Matthew to open the evening, which could signal a potentially new collaboration of the same name. However, that is merely speculation at this point. The Red Rocks announcement arrives fresh on the heels of another massive event from the duo. Just last wee...

Watch NGHTMRE and SLANDER Debut Soaring Unreleased Collaboration “Fall Into Me”

In addition to the Gud Vibrations founders, fans got to headbang alongside SVDDEN DEATH, Wavedash, and Kraysh. During their headline set, the trio premiered a new song called “Fall Into Me” featuring frequent collaborator Dylan Matthew. The track was teased last week in a promotional post for the event and fans have been waiting for a deeper look ever since. Clips of the trio performing the new track were widely shared via social media. Unlike many performance-based track premieres that give fans a small taste of what’s to come, viewers were treated to a hearty serving of the unreleased tune.  The new song has all the workings of another Gud Vibrations classic. UBUR Unleashes Roaring Remix of Kai Wachi’s “Run” [Premiere]

Kai Wachi and Dylan Matthew‘s melodic bass original “Run” has received an otherworldly rework from UBUR, who is throwing the doors open in signature fashion. UBUR cuts straight to the chase, introducing a larger-than-life kick that thunders and ripples through the sonic spectrum. A haunting vocal from Matthew lingers before being whisked up into an escalating flurry of marching style percussion and increasingly distorted risers. Longtime fans know that the “Painful Choice” producer is never one to take the easy way out. Nevertheless, he even managed to best himself at his own game, upping the ante by linking together a monstrous series of basses that shake the arrangement to its core. The bark is just as powerful as the bite, as demonstrated by UBUR’s ro...
