Dee Barnes spoke out about the Grammys renaming their Impact Award after Dr. Dre in an op-ed on Wednesday, stating that they did so for "an abuser." She wrote about how the situation made her feel, and how speaking out about her being a victim of assault by the producer has led to her being blacklisted by the industry. As spotted on Variety Magazine the Rap legend has striking a deal where he will give up a portion of his musical assets to Universal Music Group and Shamrock Holdings. According to the report the compositions in question include his solo albums, the royalties from his work as a member of N.W.A. and royalties he earns from his acclaimed production discography.
