Nollywood actress, Genevieve Nnaji, has enjoined the Feminist Coalition not to stop receiving donations supporting the #EndSARS protesters. Recall that the group, which has been providing administrative support and fundraising for the group had said it would no longer accept donations for the campaign, which seeks an end to police brutality and the disbandment of the police’s tactical special units – SARS and SWAT. Four Nigerian students arrested for ‘hacking’ bank’s system in Philippine

Four Nigerians in Muntinlupa City, Philippine have been arrested for alleged involvement in an international syndicate that hacks and siphons funds from banks. However, the Nigerians denied the allegations. The National Bureau of Investigation made this known in a statement on Tuesday, ABC CBN News reports. The statement, which was written in Phillwas signed by NBI’s Cybercrime Division chief, Vic Lorenzo. The investigative bureau claimed that “the fraudsters’ – Nigerians – transactions were traced when they hacked a system of one Philippine bank, where at least P100 million were transferred and funneled into a different account”. Beyoncé Pledges Another $1 Million to Black-Owned Businesses

Beyoncé has been one of the more charitable celebrities helping ease the burden of 2020 through her BeyGOOD foundation. In April, she sent $6 million to essential workers impacted by the coronavirus, then in May supplied 1,000 testing kits and PPE to her native Houston. June saw the beginning of her Black Parade initiative (and companion single) to promote Black-owned businesses, which she backed up by launching the Black-Owned Small Business Impact Fund in July with the NAACP Empowerment Programs. Ex-convict arrested for impersonating late Abba Kyari’s widow

A 58-year old man identified as Mallam Aminu Ado, has been arrested by men of the Nigeria Police for impersonating the widow of the late Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, in a bid to swindle unsuspecting Nigerians.
