Donald Trump Allegedly Offered Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond A Pardon In 2020

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty One of Rap’s most notorious executives is trying to work his political connections to regain his freedom. Jimmy “Henchman” Rosemond’s team alleges Donald Trump promised him a pardon last year. As spotted on Raw Story the former talent manager was trying to secure a presidential pardon in 2020. Friends, family and several celebrities, including now deceased actor Michael K. Williams and former NFL great Jim Brown, all petitioned to help free the Brooklyn native. According to The Seattle News his legal representatives were able to get the request in front of Donald Trump and to hear them tell it, all signs were pointing to Rosemond being freed. Related Stories The legal affidavits says that the former POTUS called Jim Brown an...

Another L: Omarosa Scores Victory Against Donald Trump In Battle To Enforce N.D.A. Against Her

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Paul Morigi / Getty Donald Trump, for whatever reason, loves to take things to litigation or, in this case, arbitration, but he can’t seem to win most of the legal battles he is involved in. The New York Times is reporting that Trump was handed another L in his attempt to enforce a nondisclosure agreement against Omarosa Manigault Newman, a former White House aide during his tumultuous presidency and a contestant on The Apprentice. Manigault wound up writing a tell-all book detailing how unhinged Trump was during his time at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, and he was not too pleased about that. Trump and his team filed the case in August 2018 with the American Arbitration Association in New York, and we are now just getting a decision that was made on Friday (S...

Lindsey Buckingham: Stevie Nicks Became “A Little Bit Like Trump”

Lindsey Buckingham is still angry about his 2018 firing from Fleetwood Mac, and he’s out to hit his ex-bandmates where it hurts. In a new interview with Rolling Stone, Buckingham claimed that Stevie Nicks — whose political ideologies tend to lean more liberal — ruined the band by becoming “a little bit like Trump.” This particular drama first unfolded ahead of the 50th anniversary world tour. As Buckingham explained it, “I think she wanted to shape the band in her own image, a more mellow thing, and if you look at the last tour, I think that’s true.” He added that Mick Fleetwood has been the only member of Fleetwood Mac he’s seen since his involuntary 2018 exit. “I think others in the band just felt that they were not empowered enough, individually, for whatev...

Sad! No One is Buying Tickets to Donald Trump’s Pity Party “History Tour”

Turns out a twice-impeached ex-president isn’t a good concert draw. As Politico reports, Donald Trump’s upcoming “History Tour” with disgraced FOX News commentator Bill O’Reilly is having a hard time moving tickets. The tour, which was announced last month, promises “hard-hitting” conversations between Trump and O’Reilly offering a “never-before-heard inside view of [Trump’s] administration.” In a statement announcing his participation, Trump said the events would be “fun, fun, fun, for everyone who attends!” And yet, more than a month later, a large amount of tickets for each of the four shows remain available for purchase. Politico checked in with the box offices at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, FL; Amway Center in Orlando, FL; Toyota Center in Houston, TX; and American Airlines Center...

Kremlin Papers Seemingly Point To Putin Plot To Land Donald Trump In White House

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Bloomberg / Getty The Kremlin, best known as the seat of the governing body of Russia, has famously kept its secrets away from the public with vault-like efficiency. However, leaked papers are suggesting that Russian President Vladimir Putin endorsed a plot to place former President Donald Trump in the White House in 2016. The Guardian reports that the Kremlin documents appear to show that Putin authorized a top-secret spy operation to push Trump ahead in the 2016 presidential election during a closed session of Russian’s national security council. The meeting took place on January 22, 2016, well ahead of the November elections, and was attended by a gathering of Putin’s top intelligence leaders and senior staffers. In the meeting, Trump was referred to a...

Cuba blames unrest on U.S. interference as Joe Biden backs protests

Cuba blamed historic protests that took place over the weekend on U.S. “economic asphyxiation” and social media campaigns by a minority of U.S.-financed counter-revolutionaries, while U.S. President Joe Biden said he stood with the Cuban people. The streets of Havana were quiet on Monday, although there was a heavy police presence. Outages in mobile internet – the only way many Cubans have of accessing the web – were frequent. Chanting “freedom” and calling for President Miguel Diaz-Canel to step down, thousands of Cubans joined street protests here from Havana to Santiago on Sunday in the biggest anti-government demonstrations on the Communist-run island in decades. At least 80 protesters, activists, and independent journalists had been detained nationwide since Sunday, according to exile...

Mel Gibson Seen Saluting Dear Leader

When Donald Trump entered the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas for UFC 264 over the weekend, he was greeted by a chorus of “U-S-A” to drown out the scattered boos. But one other attendee gave the ex-POTUS a special hailing, as video shows Mel Gibson saluting Trump as he walked to his seat. Saturday’s headline bout between Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirer drew a star-studded crowd, bringing out everyone from Dave Chappelle to Justin Bieber. Trump’s attendance wasn’t terribly surprising, as UFC head Dana White is his longtime friend, and Irish national/ultimate heel McGregor once called the head of a recently indicted organization a “phenomenal” president. And to be fair, events like UFC are unifying regardless of political affiliation. Still, watching Gibson, a man known for his bigoted and craz...

Donald Trump Sues Facebook, Twitter and YouTube for Wrongful Censorship

Under Section 230 of the 1996 Communications Decency Act, social media platforms are allowed to moderate their services by removing posts that, for instance, are obscene or violate the services’ own standards, so long as they are acting in “good faith.” The law also generally exempts internet companies from liability for the material that users post. But Trump and some other politicians have long argued that Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms have abused that protection and should lose their immunity — or at least have to earn it by satisfying requirements set by the government. Trump was suspended from Twitter, Facebook and YouTube after his followers stormed the Capitol building on Jan. 6. The companies cited concerns that he would incite further violence. Nonetheless, Tr...

One Term President Taps Herschel Walker To Run For Georgia Senate Seat

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Pool / Getty Donald Trump is still desperate to be in the spotlight and show off how much Black people love him. This time, it comes in the form of declaring that his longtime friend Herschel Walker will run for the Senate in Georgia. In a conversation on the conservative Clay Travis and Buck Sexton Show, Trump said that the retired football player was going to challenge current Democratic Senator Raphael Warnock for the seat in 2022. “He told me he’s going to, and I think he will. I had dinner with him a week ago. He’s a great guy. He’s a patriot. And he’s a very loyal person, he’s a very strong person. They love him in Georgia, I’ll tell you,” Trump said. There is one catch – there’s still questions concerning Walker’s residency, as he has lived in the ...

NBC’s Brian Williams Blasts Trump Backside Smoocher Texas Gov. Greg Abbott Over Safe Dogs Act Veto

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: NBC / Getty NBC News host Brian Williams has largely portrayed himself as a stern and sometimes serious journalist but has shown flashes of having more edge than previously assumed. During his nightly news program, Williams had choice words for Donald Trump supporter, Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas, this after the state leader vetoed a bill that would protect dogs from mistreatment. In the closing segment of a Wednesday night (June 23) airing of The 11th Hour with Brian Williams, the host opened with a straightforward rundown of Gov. Abbott’s deep alignment with the so-called “Trumper Republican” mindset which included the state’s controversial open-carry law, and Abbott’s support of new restrictive voting laws widely supported by Republicans and conservatives...

New Book Uncovers Donald Trump’s Saltiness Towards Black America

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Bloomberg / Getty Former President Donald Trump has always had resentment towards Black people in America, and in a new book, we find out more about how deep that goes. The book Frankly We Did Win This Election: The Inside Story of How Trump Lost, written by Wall Street Journal reporter Michael C. Bender details the absolute clown car show that was the Trump administration and how Trump pointed blame at everyone for how Black America viewed him. Excerpts from Bender’s book published by the website Politico, with information gleaned from sources during his time covering the White House, showed the former president throwing shots at his son-in-law Jared Kushner: “I’ve done all this stuff for the Blacks—it’s always Jared telling me to do this,” Trump said to...
