Betway signs Don Jazzy as Betway brand ambassador
Mavin Records founder Don Jazzy has sealed another endorsement deal as a brand ambassador for Betway. The veteran music producer was recently unveiled as the new ambassador for international sports betting company Betway. This is just days before the official launch of Big Brother Naija season 5. Betway is the official sponsors of the reality TV show which would be televised on DSTV. Don Jazzy was not the only ambassador for the company, he was also joined by Ebuka who would be the host for the new season of Big Brother Naija. Michael Collins Ajereh, the founder of Mavins record, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has disclosed that he never had any financial issues with former partner and member of Mo’Hits records, D’Banj. He stated this in a live programme with Ubi Franklin, stressing that he enjoyed an unusual relationship with D’Banj while they were together. He said: “The way I am with people in my company like myself and D’banj, money issues didn’t occur. DSS quizzes Don Jazzy, Tiwa Savage over ‘political statement’
Music producer Don Jazzy and singer Tiwa Savage have been cautioned against making social media comments against the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, after an invitation by the Department of State Security, DSS. Tiwa Savage earned the invitation after she ran a campaign, ‘WeAreTired’, in reaction to a rise in cases of rape in the country. She also made social media posts to draw the attention of the Buhari administration to the issue. The singer and Don Jazzy were invited to the Lagos office of the DSS where they were warned to be mindful of the kind of posts they make on social media.
