Zedd and Disclosure Are In the Studio

Here’s something to latch onto: Disclosure and Zedd have been spotted in the studio. Zedd took to Instagram yesterday to share a clip from a studio session with the “Latch” hitmakers. The video shows Guy Lawrence at the piano, recording a melody for an upbeat deep house demo as his brother Howard, the other esteemed member of Disclosure, looms.  It’s much too early to tell if Disclosure and Zedd are collaborating on new music or if the session was simply a friendly hangout. More Than 250 ADE Festival Events Confirmed For 2021 Edition

Despite overwhelming adversity due to COVID-19, ADE Festival‘s organizers have been steadfast in their belief that the show must go on. It now appears that their efforts have been well spent. This week, they confirmed that more than 250 in-person shows across 90+ venues will take place during the event’s upcoming 2021 edition, scheduled for October 13-16.  This development follows a recent loosening of COVID-19 mitigation measures in the Netherlands, including an official end to social distancing on September 25th. Disclosure Drops First of Five New Songs This Week, “In My Arms”

Grammy-nominated dance music duo Disclosure have surprised fans with a new single, “In My Arms.” The track marks the duo’s first original release of the year since 2020’s ENERGY LP and their recent remix of Doja Cat’s “Streets.” It’ll appear on a new EP called Never Enough, which they will unveil this week with the release of one song each day. The other new Disclosure tunes coming out this week are titled “Seduction,” “Another Level,” “It’s Happening,” and “Never Enough.” “In My Arms” features punchy percussive elements intermixed with blissed out choral vocals chanting the refrain, “I need you in my arms.” Swirling synths soon enter the fray, offering a sun-kissed techno vibe to the six-minute track. Lagos assembly to establish organ transplant dept

The Lagos State House of Assembly has organised a public hearing on a bill to establish an organ harvest transplantation department in the state Ministry of Health. The Chairman, House Committee on Health Services, Mr Hakeem Sokunle, made the disclosure at one-day public hearing on Organ Harvest and Transplantation Bill on Wednesday in Lagos. Sokunle explained that the department was to advise the state government on all matters relating to organ harvest, transplantation and preservation. The at-home fitness company provided both a physical and mental health outlet for those cooped up indoors. Nigerian government says no immediate plan to ban cylinder imports

The Federal Government says it had no immediate plan to ban the importation of gas cylinders as part of its LPG expansion and implementation plan. Mr Dayo Adesina, Senior Special Assistant on Domestic Gas in the office of the Vice-President, made the disclosure in an interview with newsmen on Sunday in Abuja. He said that the government was working on first building local capacities before contemplating a ban. According to Adesina, who is also the Programme Manager of the National LPG Expansion and Implementation, Nigeria still has a lot of cylinder deficits to fill in meeting the LPG expansion plan. NSCDC raids illegal mining centre, confiscates 700kg of precious stones

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Zamfara Command, has raided an illegal mining centre at Sawa village, Talata Mafara Local Government Area, and confiscated 700kg of precious stones. The command’s Public Relation Officer, Aminu Ismail, made the disclosure while briefing newsmen on Thursday in Gusau. Ismail said that the command received information from the Mining Officer of the Federal Ministry of Mining that some people in the local community had engaged in illegal mining in the area. He said that the command immediately mobilised personnel to the area, adding that none of the suspects was arrested, but a total of 14 bags of 50kg were found fully loaded with precious stones. US Embassy in South Africa The United States Consulate’s Public Affairs Officer, Mr. Stephen Ibelli, has disclosed that about 13, 000 Nigerian students are admitted in US annually. Ibelli made the disclosure yesterday during the launch of the ‘Windows on America’ Hub at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU), Awka. He described Nigerians as one of the most dominant immigrant groups in the US.
