‘Out of the team’, ‘Terrible today’ – Some West Ham fans tear into 30-yr-old after defeat

West Ham United were beaten 3-2 by Newcastle United in the Premier League yesterday and the Hammers will be disappointed with the way they lost the game. Unnecessary defensive errors cost the Hammers vital three points yesterday and the defeat could be damaging to their top-four aspirations. West Ham were down to ten men after just 36 minutes following a couple of mistimed challenges from Craig Dawson. The experienced centre back was sent off and the Hammers struggled to contain the Magpies after that. Dawson has been in very poor form over the last five matches and he has scored two own goals in that period as well. Yesterday’s sending off seems to have infuriated the Hammers fans and it will be interesting to see if David Moyes keeps him in the starting line-up once his suspension is ove...

‘Immense’, ‘Incredible’ – Some West Ham fans are in awe of 30-yr-old’s display v Man Utd

West Ham United slipped to a narrow defeat against Manchester United in the fifth round of the FA Cup last night. The Londoners will be disappointed to have crashed out of the competition after performing reasonably well against the Premier League giants. Moyes has had a small squad to work with this season and was lacking attacking options against United. However, the Hammers managed to contain the home side for the majority of the game. The Hammers were impressive at the back and 30-year-old Craig Dawson put in a splendid display for the away side. The experienced centre back has proven to be a superb addition to the West Ham defence and he was one of the best players on the pitch last night. He joined the London club on a loan deal at the start of the season and he has proven to be a ma...

Report: West Ham looking to sign 30-yr-old before window closes, personal terms agreed

West Ham United are interested in signing Craig Dawson from Watford. The Hammers need to add some defensive quality to their side and Dawson should prove to be a quality addition. The 30-year-old has considerable experience of the Premier League and he should be able to settle in quickly and make an immediate impact for David Moyes. According to Nicolo Schira, Watford are looking to sell him for €4 million and the player has already agreed on personal terms with West Ham. The asking price seems quite reasonable and West Ham certainly have the means to pay that. It will be interesting to see if they can get the signing across the line before the domestic window closes on the 16th of October. West Ham have been linked with a move for the Swansea defender Joe Rodon as well but the signing cou...
