According to TMZ, 24-year-old Isaiah Lee, was just sentenced to nine months in Los Angeles County Jail after pleading no contest to entering a restricted area during a live event and battery, both of which are misdemeanors. Isaiah Lee, the man who attacked comedian Dave Chappelle on stage at the Hollywood Bow in May, has pleaded no contest and been sentenced to 270 days in a county jail, Deadline reports. Lee was charged with misdemeanor counts of battery and entering a restricted area during a live event. The 24-year-old is currently locked up on an unrelated charge, with authorities alleging that he stabbed his roommate at a transitional housing facility last year. His lawyers has sought to place him in a pretrial intervention program designed to help people with behavioral or mental health issues, but the judge rejected the request. Dave Chappelle will host Saturday Night Live’s November 12th episode alongside musical guest Black Star, the hip-hop duo of Talib Kweli and Yasiin Bey, a.k.a. Mos Def. In what has become something of a tradition, Chappelle is once again tasked with hosting the first SNL episode following a major US election. He previously hosted shows following presidential elections in 2016 and 2020; now, he’ll return to Studio 8H for the first episode in the wake of the 2022 midterms. Chris Rock and Dave Chappelle are teaming up for a run of co-headlining tour dates. Taking place in December, the seven-date jaunt will see the comedians visit cities including San Diego, Phoenix, Anaheim, San Jose, San Francisco, and Sacramento.
