HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Derrick Salters/WENN.com / WENN Shaquille O’Neal was never really one to bite his tongue, so it shouldn’t really surprise anyone that he share his feelings about Kyrie Irving being a vaccine skeptic and says the Brooklyn Nets should cut ties with the controversial flat earther/point guard. During an interview on with Tiki and Tierney, Shaq Diesel said that he’d go to management and tell them to get Kyrie “up out of here” and “We can win with a two-punch and a great shooter and some rebounders like we got. Get his ass up out of here.” Well, we actually believe he’d do something like that. Luckily the Nets have KD and James Harden to move the team forward, but the NBA in 2021 does need a Big Three to compete for a title. Being that Kyrie isn’t vaccinated he...
HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Bruce Glikas / Getty We’re clearly still in the midst of a global pandemic, and should move accordingly. Comedian and actor Chris Rock revealed that he has tested positive for COVID-19. On Sunday (Sept. 19), the CB4 actor took to Twitter to reveal his predicament and urge his followers to get vaccinated. “Hey guys I just found out I have COVID, trust me you don’t want this,” he tweeted. “Get vaccinated.” Rock, 56, was vocal about his readiness to take the vaccine. In May, during an interview on The Breakfast Club, he revealed that he was vaccinated but still would be careful and keep his mask nearby. In another visit to The Tonight Show, he revealed he got a dose of the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine and joked, “That’s the food stamps of vaccines....
HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Mondadori Portfolio / Getty Nicki Minaj is apparently not done with her Twitter antics after her embarrassing anti-vaxxer-like tweet-storm that included her believing that her cousin’s friend’s fiance called off her wedding because the groom to be got swollen testicles as a result of him being vaccinated. (I mean, of all the things that never happened, that is the never-happenediest.) To be fair, Minaj also tweeted that she likely would be vaccinated because she has to go on tour, so she never went full tin foil when it comes to anti-vaccination remarks. But she said enough to get people riled up and calling her out for using her massive platform to spread anti-science misinformation. For whatever reason, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was aske...
HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Johnny Louis / Getty Of the millions of people who refuse to get the COVID-19 vaccine, many excuses have been made and heard from tracking devices in the shots to not wanting to give Joe Biden any help, but K. Michelle has given a particularly original excuse for not getting vaccinated. According to Madamenoire, the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta and singer star took to her Instagram Live to explain that due to her butt implants (we thought that was the result of pure cornbread eating?!), she’s refraining from getting the vaccine as it doesn’t mix well with the silicone in her physical degree. Even though she’s had her butt implants removed, Michelle says that she still has some silicone left in her body that might have an adverse reaction to the vaccine sho...
