Cash Rules: Andrew Wiggins Got Vaccinated, But Feels He Was “Forced” To Do So

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Abbie Parr / Getty After refusing to take the vaccine and risk forfeiting millions of dollars on his NBA contract, Golden State Warriors forward Andrew Wiggins finally got the jab, but don’t think for a second he’s happy about that fact. CNN is reporting that after holding out on getting the vaccine for “personal reasons,” Wiggins finally gave in knowing he’d lose millions if he sat out the season. Saying it came down to getting the vaccine or not playing ball, Wiggins says he felt “forced” to get the shot and will now fear what will become of him in 10 years as conspiracy theorists say the vaccine will come back to haunt the vaccinated in about a decade. What’s more interesting is that Wiggins got the Johnson & Johnson shot which some studies sh...

Shaquille O’Neal Criticizes Kyrie Irving For Not Getting Vaccinated

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Derrick Salters/WENN.com / WENN Shaquille O’Neal was never really one to bite his tongue, so it shouldn’t really surprise anyone that he share his feelings about Kyrie Irving being a vaccine skeptic and says the Brooklyn Nets should cut ties with the controversial flat earther/point guard. During an interview on with Tiki and Tierney, Shaq Diesel said that he’d go to management and tell them to get Kyrie “up out of here” and “We can win with a two-punch and a great shooter and some rebounders like we got. Get his ass up out of here.” Well, we actually believe he’d do something like that. Luckily the Nets have KD and James Harden to move the team forward, but the NBA in 2021 does need a Big Three to compete for a title. Being that Kyrie isn’t vaccinated he...

Chris Rock Tests Positive For COVID, Urges Followers To “Get Vaccinated”

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Bruce Glikas / Getty We’re clearly still in the midst of a global pandemic, and should move accordingly. Comedian and actor Chris Rock revealed that he has tested positive for COVID-19. On Sunday (Sept. 19), the CB4 actor took to Twitter to reveal his predicament and urge his followers to get vaccinated. “Hey guys I just found out I have COVID, trust me you don’t want this,” he tweeted. “Get vaccinated.” Rock, 56, was vocal about his readiness to take the vaccine. In May, during an interview on The Breakfast Club, he revealed that he was vaccinated but still would be careful and keep his mask nearby. In another visit to The Tonight Show, he revealed he got a dose of the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine and joked, “That’s the food stamps of vaccines....

Top 5 Anti-Vaxx Rappers From Least To Most Cringey & Embarrassing

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz83 Unfortunately, there are a lot of people out there, of all demographics and non-medical-field-related professions, who have decided to approach this pandemic and the subject of vaccines by trusting their research from the prestigious University of YouTube over the actual medical research of actual medical professionals and scientists. They’ll tell you the conspiracy is real and provide you with a link from SeeTheConspiracyIsReal.com as proof. Rappers and other recording artists have not been immune to this kind of thinking (or the virus, while we’re on the subject) and so they’ve used their massive platforms to spread dangerous misinformation regarding the pandemic and the importance of getting vaccinated. So we have take...

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: JIM WATSON / Getty Nicki Minaj once again sent the internet in a frenzy over her political views after tweeting that she declined to go to the 2021 Met Gala due to the vaccine requirement. As previously reported, earlier this week the “Seeing Green” rapper shared some thoughts regarding the COVID-19 vaccine before tweeting a wild claim regarding her cousin’s friend’s testicles. “My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine cuz his friend got it & became impotent,” Minaj Twetted. “His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding. So just pray on it & make sure you’re comfortable with ur decision, not bullied.” The tweet prompted an onslaught of feedback over the misinformation includin...

Nicki Minaj Vs. Everybody: Minaj Gets Into It With Piers Morgan, Joy Reid & More Over Anti-Vaccine Twitter Rant

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Mondadori Portfolio / Getty Nicki Minaj is apparently not done with her Twitter antics after her embarrassing anti-vaxxer-like tweet-storm that included her believing that her cousin’s friend’s fiance called off her wedding because the groom to be got swollen testicles as a result of him being vaccinated. (I mean, of all the things that never happened, that is the never-happenediest.) To be fair, Minaj also tweeted that she likely would be vaccinated because she has to go on tour, so she never went full tin foil when it comes to anti-vaccination remarks. But she said enough to get people riled up and calling her out for using her massive platform to spread anti-science misinformation. For whatever reason, UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was aske...

K. Michelle Says She Won’t Get The Vaccine Due To Butt Implant Residue

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Johnny Louis / Getty Of the millions of people who refuse to get the COVID-19 vaccine, many excuses have been made and heard from tracking devices in the shots to not wanting to give Joe Biden any help, but K. Michelle has given a particularly original excuse for not getting vaccinated. According to Madamenoire, the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta and singer star took to her Instagram Live to explain that due to her butt implants (we thought that was the result of pure cornbread eating?!), she’s refraining from getting the vaccine as it doesn’t mix well with the silicone in her physical degree. Even though she’s had her butt implants removed, Michelle says that she still has some silicone left in her body that might have an adverse reaction to the vaccine sho...

Live Nation Will Require Ticket Holders To Be Vaccinated Or Show Negative Test Result

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: SOPA Images / Getty The world is just starting to see the after effects of the pandemic. Live Nation has announced they will require receipts showing you are Covid-19 free. The entertainment company is doubling down on ensuring that their events are thoughtfully hosted. According to Rolling Stone the Beverly Hills, California-based brand has pivoted away from letting performers decide their own coronavirus guidelines.
