Denmark Launches Children’s TV Show About Man with Giant, Uncontrollable Penis

Danish TV show John Dillermand is about a man with a very long penis, photo via DR TV The Danes sure do it differently — sex education, that is. Last Saturday, Denmark’s national broadcasting company premiered a new children’s TV show about a man with an extraordinarily long and uncontrollable penis. Created by DR, the country’s equivalent of the BBC, in collaboration with actual sex educators, the animated series follows John Dillermand, said to be the world’s most well endowed man. The titular character often uses his record-breaking phallus as a helpful tool to overcome various challenges (taming lions), as well as complete everyday tasks (outdoor BBQing, as seen above). However, there are certain instances when his penis, acting completely independently of Dillermand, gets him in ...

Rowan Atkinson on Playing Mr. Bean: “I Find It Stressful and Exhausting, and I Look Forward to The End of It”

Rowan Atkinson as Mr. Bean For decades now, Rowan Atkinson has consistently and perfectly captured Mr. Bean’s penchant for silly faces and wholesome, childlike slapstick. However, the 65-year-old actor revealed in a recent interview that playing the iconic character has been anything but joyful and fun — actually, quite the opposite. While speaking extensively with the UK’s Radio Times, the British actor opened up about the “responsibility” he feels to accurately depict the beloved character, which has transcended its original ’90s TV series to become a global franchise consisting of spin-offs, films, and books. “I don’t much enjoy playing him,” Atkinson said of the Mr. Bean role (via Variety). “The weight of responsibility is not pleasant. I find it stressful and exhausting, and I lo...

Growing Pains Siblings Condemn Kirk Cameron for Maskless Christmas Caroling Events

Growing Pains siblings Carol Seaver (Tracey Gold), Mike Seaver (Kirk Cameron), and Ben Seaver (Jeremy Miller) Former Growing Pains star and current in-your-face evangelist Kirk Cameron spent this holiday season proudly flaunting his anti-mask beliefs by staging huge maskless Christmas caroling events throughout California. Now, his former Growing Pains siblings Jeremy Miller and Tracey Gold are speaking up to condemn his egregious actions. On multiple days in December, Cameron convinced hundreds of people to gather together to sing Christmas carols without any coronavirus safety measures in place, namely social distancing and mask wearing. That’s a lot of spit and germs flying through the air for the sake of belting “Frosty the Snowman”, and it’s especially irresponsible considering L...

Minari Submitted to Golden Globes as Foreign Language Film, Ineligible for Best Picture

Producers of the film festival darling and critically acclaimed Minari have stirred controversy by submitting the film for the Golden Globes’ Best Foreign Language Film category, making it ineligible for Best Picture. Though mostly in Korean, Minari is a quintessentially American-made film. It was produced by an American company (A24), written and directed by an American filmmaker (Lee Isaac Chung), shot in America, and stars a South Korean-American actor (Steven Yeun). Even the plot is all about the American story, that of an immigrant family fighting for their dreams. Yet, because of Golden Globe rules, the movie was submitted under the Best Foreign Language Film category. According to The Los Angeles Times, the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s rules for submissions classify a forei...

Luis Suarez admits he had preliminary agreement in place with Juventus before joining Atletico Madrid

Luis Suarez has told Italian authorities that he had a preliminary agreement in place with Juventus last summer according to Il Corriere dell’Umbria and carried by Football Italia. The Uruguayan striker ended up joining Atletico Madrid instead, but even went through an Italian citizenship exam in an effort to grease the wheels and make the move happen. This exam has become a great controversy. The 33 year-old has admitted that he was informed of the questions of the exam as well as that he reached a preliminary agreement with the Italian club at the end of August. Perugia’s Prosecutor Office confirmed at the beginning of the month the suspension for eight months from the exercise of pubic offices for the Rector of the University Giuliana Grego, the University’s CEO Simone Olivieri and prof...

Once-Relevant Actor Kirk Cameron Holds Large Caroling Event in the Middle of the Pandemic

You might remember Kirk Cameron from his role in the TV series Growing Pains, the movie Like Father Like Son, or any of the cringey Christian dramas he made throughout the 2000s. But in 2020, the 50-year-old Evangelical Christian has pivoted from acting to anti-masking. On December 7th and December 13th, Cameron hosted gatherings of hundreds of people at The Oaks mall in Thousand Oaks, California to sing Christmas carols and commiserate in close quarters. In a video of the second event that Cameron posted to his Instagram with the caption “Joy over Fear” — a pointed rebuke of social distancing restrictions — very few attendees are seen wearing masks and almost everyone is singing in unison, mouth germs abound. That same day, Ventura County (the location of the gathering) reported...

HBO Max Also Pulls Chappelle’s Show at Dave Chappelle’s Request

Last month, Netflix removed Chappelle’s Show from their service at the behest of Dave Chappelle himself. The beloved comedian has now asked HBO Max to pull the iconic sketch series from their library, and they’re granting his request. In a lengthy Instagram video posted in late November, Chappelle explained that because of the contract he signed with ViacomCBS back when the show was made in the mid-2000s — years before streaming services even existed — he actually doesn’t see a penny of the money that ViacomCBS receives when it licenses the show out to companies like Netflix and HBO Max. “They [ViacomCBS] didn’t have to pay me because I signed the contract,” Chappelle said in the clip, which compiles footage from recent stand-up gigs. “But is that right? I found out that these people were ...

Black Sabbath’s Geezer Butler Finds Cardi B’s “WAP” Song “Disgusting”

When Black Sabbath first emerged, they were branded as “the devil’s music” by conservative Christians. Now, the band’s founding bassist and chief lyricist, Geezer Butler, has branded the popular Cardi B hit “WAP” (featuring Megan Thee Stallion) as “disgusting,” while also admitting he’s an “old goat.” As the first true heavy metal band, Sabbath experienced their fair share of backlash, having been dubbed “Satanists” by many who didn’t delve into the actual words of the songs. While speaking to Kerrang! about the perception of new artists, Butler brought up his own gripes with the salacious “WAP”. “Whatever new music comes out, it’s viewed as the devil’s music,” explained Geezer. “I remember when Elvis came out everybody said he was Satan. And then in the ’60s and ’70s he became America’s n...
