Gombe Assembly passes local government joint project bill

The Gombe State House of Assembly has passed into law a bill for a law to provide for the establishment of a joint project development agency and other matters related thereto. However, the bill did not have a smooth sail following the ‘dust’ raised against the bill by Mr Rambi Ibrahim Ayala, representing Billiri East State Constituency. Mr Rambi is also the Chairman of the House Committee on Judiciary. The State Governor, Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya had sent the bill which in other words, subjects initiation and execution of Local Government projects to the proposed agency. Senator Lawan distributes palliatives to thousands in Damaturu, Yobe North

President of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan, has distributed food palliatives to thousands of residents in Damaturu and the six local government areas in Yobe North Senatorial District of Yobe State. The local governments are: Bade, Nguru, Jakusko, Yusufari, Karasuwa, and Machina, respectively. The gesture by Senator Lawan was aimed at providing relief to residents in Damaturu, the State Capital and his Constituency, who are affected by the lockdown policy following the spread of the COVID-19 disease. Ndigbo in Lagos do not hate APC – lawmaker

Honourable Jude Idimogu, the lawmaker representing Oshidi/Isolo Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly has said that Ndigbo, an ethnic group from South East, does not hate All Progressives Congress (APC), as many people would erroneously believe, rather it is the leadership of the group that has been the problem. Nasarawa Assembly members test negative for coronavirus

Nasarawa State Government All the members of the Nasarawa State House of Assembly have tested negative for coronavirus (COVID-19), the Chairman, House Committee on Information, Alhaji Mohammed Omadefu, has said. Omadefu disclosed this during an interview with newsmen on Saturday in Keffi.
