Surprise! As part of the Disney+ Day celebration, BTS’s PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA is now streaming on the platform as of today (September 8th). PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE – LA is described as a “stage-focused” concert film, showcasing the enormous event held at So-Fi Stadium at the end of 2021. Three BTS Projects Coming to Disney+, Including “Permission to Dance on Stage” Concert Film
Disney and HYBE have forged a new partnership, and their first order of business is producing a series of projects featuring the members of BTS. According to The Hollywood Reporter, HYBE — the South Korean entertainment company in charge of BTS’ record label, Big Hit — has signed on to create five titles with the Mouse House for Disney+, including three exclusive projects featuring BTS or some of its members. The first is BTS: Permission to Dance on Stage — LA, a concert film immortalizing the group’s November 2021 performance at Los Angeles’ Sofi Stadium, which marked their first in-person live event since 2019. Titled Louder Than Noise… Live in Berlin, the release documents the band’s 2012 performance at the Berlin Velodrom. The set arrives April 23rd on CD/DVD, vinyl, and digital formats. The 15-song set rips through the signature moments of Motörhead large song catalog, highlighted by hits like “Ace of Spades”, “Overkill”, and “The Chase Is Better Than the Catch”.
