MUNA Taps Phoebe Bridgers for New Song “Silk Chiffon”: Stream
Toward the end of last year, Phoebe Bridgers started her own record label called Saddest Factory Records, and this past spring signed the Los Angeles synthpop trio MUNA. Today, MUNA have shared their first single since joining the label, “Silk Chiffon,” featuring a verse from Bridgers herself. If “Silk Chiffon” is meant to reintroduce MUNA to old fans and new listeners alike, then it goes above and beyond in summarizing what makes the group so much fun. Baby Keem Announces Release Date for Debut Album The Melodic Blue, Shares Trailer
After years of teasing and slowly rolling out songs, Baby Keem has finally announced the release date for his debut studio LP. It’s called The Melodic Blue and it’s due out September 10th through his cousin Kendrick Lamar’s elusive production company pgLang via Columbia. Watch a teaser trailer for the new album below. The Melodic Blue is technically Baby Keem’s first-ever album, serving as the follow-up to his 2019 mixtape Die for My Bitch. Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett are reuniting for two nights only at Radio City Music Hall, which will apparently serve as Bennett’s final concerts in New York City. “One Last Time: An Evening With Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga” will open on August 3rd, Bennett’s 95th (!) birthday, with a second performance scheduled for August 5th. The shows are meant to be Bennett’s final concerts in the Big Apple, according to a press release.
