Nicki Minaj Crosses Out Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, & Doja Cat’s Names In Op-Ed Praising Her, Twitter Senses Shadiness

HipHopWired Featured Video CLOSE Source: Mondadori Portfolio / Getty Nicki Minaj’s latest social media antics have many, including the Barbs thinking she was being really shady to other female Hip-Hop artists. Queen Barb Nicki Minaj raised eyebrows on social media after sharing a HotNewHipHop Op-Ed written by Joshua Robinson titled Why Nicki Minaj Is One of the Greatest of All Time. Of course, it’s a no-brainer that Minaj would share a piece praising her, and acknowledging her contributions to the genre, but it’s what she did with the screengrab from the post that even has her Barbz asking why? The original paragraph in the piece read: “Yet, what’s most astonishing and powerful about Nicki’s impact on Hip-Hop is her presence and, sometimes, the lack thereof. Whether she’s going on an unexp...

Nicki Minaj & City Girls Clear The Air, Is A Collaboration Finally On The Way?

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz Looks like City Girls and Nicki Minaj have squashed whatever weird drama they had between them and could possibly collaborate on something in the coming future. Yesterday (Feb. 2) the Queens rapper took to social media and surprisingly revealed that she had a heart-to-heart with both Yung Miami and JT saying “Just had a great convo with @ThegirlJT & @YungMiami305. Let’s move on & make new memories y’all.” Related Stories Does “new memories” mean new studio memories? This is the collaboration fans have been waiting on for a hot minute now (though social media derailed it via slander and hate on the idea) and now it seems like it could be coming to fruition. Both JT and Yung Miami took to Twitter to echo the sentiment...

Yung Miami Claps Back At Fan For Criticizing Her Walking Off Stage At Revolt Summit

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Marcus Ingram / Getty Over the weekend, fans of the City Girls were stunned and confused when Yung Miami abruptly walked off the stage during her performance with JT at the Revolt Summit. Putting down the microphone on the DJ table and walking off with her middle finger apparently up and about, Miami seemed to be bothered about something as she walked off stage with JT looking somewhat confused about her actions. Related Stories After fans began calling out Yung Miami for walking out on them, the “Rap Freaks” artist responded to one fan who criticized her for walking off on a crowd who paid to see her. Taking issue with the fan’s opinion on the matter, Miami bluntly said “Girl the show was over! What you wanted me to stand there and smile? F*ck you!” Seem...

Yung Miami Drops Heaux Tales And Sex Fantasies In New Video “Rap Freak”

MadameNoire Featured Video Source: Paras Griffin / Getty Yung Miami is out here showing her whole Hot Girl derrière on a new track titled, “Rap Freaks.” The highly-anticipated song and video was teased on Instagram over the past three days, leading up to its midnight release on Oct. 29. Risqué sizzle reels seen on the City Girl’s profile alluded to what was to come: a bed, kink, ass, whips, chains, BDSM gear, Yung Caresha’s thighs spread wide while she touches herself—you know—down there. Like it’s promo, the song leaves little to the imagination, and in less time than it takes for a two-minute brother to bust a nut, Miami runs down the sexual trysts she wouldn’t mind getting into with current rappers she wouldn’t mind getting it in with; like riding Megan Thee Stallion’s face “like a stal...

Summer Walker Drops “Ex For A Reason” Track, Twitter Has Mixed Reactions

HipHopWired Featured Video CLOSE Source: Prince Williams / Getty Summer Walker might be in the headlines for reasons outside of music these days, but fans of the songstress are primed and ready for new tunes. Walker dropped a new single from her forthcoming Still Over It album titled “Ex For A Reason” featuring JT of the City Girls fame, and fans on Twitter are sharing mixed reactions. Produced by Buddah Bless, Sean Garrett, and Boobie, Walker, 25, digs deep into her sharp songwriting bag and doesn’t mince words as she sings about a lover who needs to check an ex-girlfriend who isn’t respecting the boundaries of the relationship. While Walker croons about going through her lover’s phone and threatening to “spin the block” as the kids say, it’s JT’s verse that hammers home what the song is ...

However, it appears that the famed entertainer and media personality is aware of the chatter and wants the world to know that this is all part of a grand plan. In a recent episode of Cannon’s radio show on Power 106 in Los Angeles, the City Girls paid the set a visit to talk a host of things, including Internet trolls, living one’s best life, and the dynamic duo even dispensed some advice for Cannon during their chat.
